Buck Creek Rest And Recuperate, Quiet In The Woods Getaway

  • This home is out in the woods, quite and plenty of wild life. It has 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, open living room, kitchen, and dining room. All new appliances in kitchen and a laundry room with new washer and dryer. A covered porch for enjoying the wildlife and fresh air. Want to get away or have a family get together this is the place. Near by attractions are Andersonville POW museum, national infantry museum Ft Benning, Warner Robins AFB museum, Lake Blackshear for fishing and water sports. We also have a shooting range available. VRBO couldn't find it on google, but it is 12 miles west of Oglethorpe just off Ga 240. Have a cook out or sit around a campfire. A charcoal grill is on the covered porch

Perfect Family Get Away

There was plenty of room for 7 adults with all the comforts of home, but in a quiet, beautiful place away from the city. The host was amazing and made the whole process so easy. We would definitely stay there again.

Great for visiting Plains and Andersonville

A friend and I wanted a quick trip from Florida. This place was excellent! The hosts were great and Hobo the dog topped everything off. We did Andersonville and Plains in a day then had a great dinner at Yoder's in nearby Montezuma.

Girls trip

This was our yearly girls trip for my daughters and granddaughter. We went to the Reynolds strawberry festival but the most important thing was to have time to relax and enjoy the company. Buck Creek was perfect for a quiet and relaxing weekend!!

Labor Day Weekens

The home was exactly as described very spacious and clean. Everything we needed for cooking was available. Beds were comfortable and plenty of sitting room in the living area. Owners were sweet, friendly and inviting.

The home was just that...a home away from home. It was very evident that the hosts went out of their way to add all the little touches that made their property welcoming to their guests. The rooms were beautiful. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Quiet country setting on a little dirt road, where you could just sit on the front porch and REST and RECUPERATE just like the name says ....The property owner and I had several conversations during the planning of our family get together..He was very helpful and accommodating...I highly recommend this property to anybody who needs a little get away!

Perfect Stay in Georgia

Our group of seven travelled to Georgia to participate in a national agility competition in Perry. The house was far enough off the beaten path to give us the peace and quiet we needed to regroup after a day of competition, but close enough to grocery stores and restaurants to keep us well fed. The house provided us with everything we needed.

Perfect stay

In town for a wedding at Bison Valley Lodge, this VRBO was just 20 miles down the road and perfect for us. Nice and quiet location, with 5 bedrooms and 3 baths it was large enough for everyone to spread out and have their own spaces. Beds were comfortable. Home was clean. Everything to make our stay comfortable was included. The hosts were super sweet and and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again. . 10/10 highly recommend.

Convenient

We came in for a family funeral. Since this is a rural area we were thrilled to find a house for us rather than a cramped hotel room. The house was about the same distance away from our family as the nearest hotel in a neighboring town. It was definitely a quiet relaxing environment and we would consider staying here again.
