This place is absolutely amazing!! It’s an old palace turn into a hotel with all the old palace charm. The staff go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met and you are having an amazing time. They have a great tour for the residents that explains the interesting history of the palace. The complementary tea time is another fun thing to do. Make sure you visit the bar and try their whiskey with a hint of tamarind (the bartender was very nice and helpful). One last thing, get there nicely dressed since they have a very nice welcoming ceremony for their guests where they take a video of you using your phone and they also take pictures.

This is not just a hotel; it’s an experience! Initially I was quite skeptical about its value, but it was totally worth it. The staff was so helpful right from service at the restaurant (kudos to Santosh, Pydhi Babu, Ramkrishna, Nilesh, Sujata and chefs Arun and Kaushal), to housekeeping specialists. This stay has been the highlight of my trip.
