"Exceptional luxury, incredible breakfast selection, and perfect location! We had a phenomenal stay at Hótel Jökulsárlón. The property is modern, sleek, and very comfortable. We had a wonderful dinner at the hotel restaurant, but the absolute standout was the morning breakfast buffet—the selection was massive, fresh, and the perfect way to fuel up before heading out early to watch the icebergs float by at the nearby lagoon. The hotel features an excellent wellness setup with a sauna and outdoor hot tubs; though we didn’t end up using them because we saved our soaking for the Earth Lagoon, they looked great. Excellent hospitality!"

"Charming guesthouse in an older farmhouse - great location, clean, comfortable. We had a nice stay, did not opt in for the breakfast at an additional cost. Very quiet despite most rooms being full. As mentioned in other reviews, there are ALOT of house rules. This didn't bother us but may deter guests who prefer a more relaxed stay."

"Clean and no frills hotel used during our road-trip through Iceland. Received instructions on how to pick up keys at a different location. We didn't realize that the bathroom was to be shared (knew about the kitchen). Water temperature was confusing as it immediately became extremely hot and then cold if you are not careful."
