Great location just off the ring road, Friendly and helpful staff. Dinner (lamb burgers) were good and breakfast had the best options we have had so far over nine days. Room was a good size and robes were provided if you wanted to use the hot tub. However, the shower pressure was weak, at least in our second floor room, and the hand held shower head wouldn't stay up in its holder (for those not wanting a rain fall shower over their head), also towels were fraying and not soft, disappointing for the price paid.

Wonderful place to stay. The restaurant meal was phenomenal. Particularly the rhubarb crumble! Staff were super friendly. And the hotpool was nice and hot

Such a unique experience as it used to be an old school. The room was super clean, the staff was very friendly, and a great stopping point on your way to northern Iceland!

I mainly used this hotel as a one night stop off on the way to and back from the North. It is very comfortable, warm and modern. Food is very good especially for this type of transient hotel. What really stands out is how amazingly helpful and friendly the staff are, they clearly recruit to a very high standard.

Great location for travelling around the ring road. The room was fine with a nice big wet room shower room. The breakfast was fine too. We had a room in the annex building and it was quiet.

A former old school converted to a hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. Dinner was very good. This hotel is recommended by my husband and me.

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere but we booked for a night on our way somewhere else, so that was fine. It looks really bad from outside but a bit better when you come in. They have 3 hot tubs outside so that's noce. We got a room upgrade but not sure if that was really good because the room was a bit bigger and never got warm from the radiator which was really hot. The room had big windows but you could only open two tiny 10c20cm ones. That was not enough to get some air in and as the room was cold, it got really humid very fast. By the morning all the windows had huge condensations and none of the towels dried. The bathroom window was completely wet from inside all the time. The room was also not properly cleaned. The floor was disgusting and we had some bread crumbs in our robes. Personal was okay, some better, some worse. We paid for the dinner but the next morning we were asked if we have to pay again. Common you must see it's paid. When I said that we paid already, she responded: oh okay. The dinner was actually quite good, we had a lamb burger from locally sources lamb! Breakfast was also very nice, there was a lot of choice and it was tasty and fresh.

Yes the best hotel so far in 6 days driving along the ring road. Wonderful staff and service, best food from their restaurant! Was too full to use their spa after dinner. Highly recommend it. Added it to my list to revisit if possible !
