We arrived on our first day in Iceland and drove directly to the guesthouse. We were welcomed very friendly and I almost felt sorry for just wanting to get some rest as the guy at the reception was very eager to tell us everything we should see on the northern part of the island. The location was easy to find and the room was clean and has everything you need. Beds were comfortable. We were the only guests but breakfast was done again in a very nicely way including bread, cheese, skyr and more. We got some helpful tips of what to see. Would recommend this guesthouse.

Hard to find, 4 miles off route 1, on a dirt road with pot holes. Our GPS was not able to locate. Breakfast was just ok. It is located in a beautiful area.

We had a spectacular view and quiet surroundings. The guesthouse provided dishes but no soap or towels to wash dishes off which made us wonder whether the dishes had been washed by others. The extra pillow and comforter did not have pillow case or covers so again we wondered about it's cleanliness. Quaint setting but slightly run down feeling.

Sobere kamer, schoonmaak badkamer slecht !

Kamer was sober en sfeerloos. Leek op het eerste gezicht schoon. Badkamer was echter niet schoon: hele plukken zwarte haren verstopten het doucheputje en lagen ook elders in de douche. Badkamer overstroomde hierdoor tijdens het douchen.

Daeli Guesthouse is a very friendly and peaceful place to be, specially if you want to be in the nature. Man at reception and at dinner service was very friendly and helpful.

Very good value hotel the cheapest one in our entire trip in Iceland. Large clean room with all amenities. Location about 7 km from main road in farm area. Highly recommend if you want good value and nothing fancy.

Nice and cozy

This place is one of the few hotels available in that area. The room was supper nice and clean, but they had a large race happening in the farm, as this is a horse farm, and so the kitchen was closed. So that was inconvenient. But we were pleasantly surprised by how comfy and clean the room was. The hot tub was not that clean though. But they have a hot tub with natural Spring water which is always a plus :)

This guesthouse is charming in a very idyllic setting. It is about 10 minutes outside of Hvammstangi, but still convenient. We booked two rooms and they gave us a cottage that had two separate rooms, but since we were the only ones in the cottage, it was very convenient to go between our rooms. The rooms were very clean and the bathrooms were a decent size. We also ate dinner there and the food was very good. My only complaint is that they did not have laundry services and the breakfast wasn't great as there weren't a lot of selection compared to the other hotels we stayed at. Also, they had wooden blinds, but some of them didn't close all the way. But I highly recommend it.
