We accidentally left a game console behind after checking out, and the staff went above and beyond to locate it and arrange to have it safely sent to us in another city. That level of care and thoughtfulness is rare and truly appreciated. The breakfast was also great, with a good variety of fresh options to start the day. "Very comfortable and modern hotel located close to the riverside and about 1 km from beach where you can swim. Riverside is lined with restaurants serving seafood. You can see the fishing boats from the hotel. About 15 minutes walk in to the main town, recommend tree hugger cafe for coffee and juices. The breakfast selection at the hotel was very good mainly Asian style, with bread, meats and jams plus omelette station, fruits and mini cakes. The roof top pool is very nice for a dip, could have some deck chairs to sit on. Dong Hoi is calmer and quite compared to Hanoi and a place for a night or two while travelling south or as a stop to Phong Nha for the caves. "
