The unfenced steppes just outside of Ulaanbaatar are filled with roaming herds of wild horses.
Look up close - these are the famous horses that are the last wild horse of the steppes. The Takhi or Przewalski were bred back into a sizeable herd; and can now be found in the Khustai National Park about 2 hours out of Ulaanbaatar.
