We were visiting our family in the nearby town of Norwalk so this home was perfect for our needs. It was quaint, clean, and perfect location between our family and beautiful downtown Huron. Not to mention a short 1min walk to the Pied Piper! The train noises were not bad at all and I really appreciated that the host gave us the option to cancel within 48hrs of booking due to the noise. We also appreciated that ear plugs were provided for our light sleepers.
Very nice place in a cute neighborhood! The train goes right by the house pretty often which can be a problem if you're a light sleeper but it didn't particularly bother me
Great property in a great community. Very close
To Sandusky and Cedar Point. Is next to a train track, but it isn’t super disruptive. Great restaurants walkable. Host was very communicative and helpful
House was a good size with a lot of sleeping options. Clean and well stocked with towels, dishes/pots and pans, and soap/shower gel. Marcy was a phenomenal host - great communication and she gave us a lot of great ideas for our time in Huron/Sandusky. Location was good - easy to get to all the main attractions in the area. There were a lot of people out riding bikes/walking so the area felt safe. Only downside was the trains but Marcy provided earplugs which was appreciated! We would stay with her again.
My husband and a few of his friends stayed at the property for a long weekend. They booked a charter boat to fish and this place was just perfect. It is within walking distance of a restaurant that they really enjoyed. It is close to the train tracks, but the earplugs provided helped tremendously. They said they would book this property again for sure. Marcy was wonderful and reached out on several occasions making sure everything was okay. What a great place!
My family and my brother’s family did short escape and took out first Ceder Point trip. This home was very clean and everything had its own place. We had trouble locking one of the doors and our host had no problem coming and showing us how to lock it. Minus the train we loved our stay and it’s worth every penny. Thank you, Mercy you are an exceptional host.

I was overall happy with the property accommodates nine comfortably. Nice area felt safe. Near local food and gas establishments. The only issue was the 24/7 freight trains. Hard to sleep. Property manager suggested using ear plugs provided on property. I did not feel that was after solution with my teens sleeping downstairs. Vrbo ad does not mentioned how close the train is to the property runs directly behind the property
We liked this house. It was nice and clean and close to the things we wanted to do. I recommend going to Nickel Plate Beach nearby which was very nice. The train didn't really bother us. The house and windows are well insulated, so that blocked most of the noise. The only thing was the whistle, which some people slept through and some didn't. About as loud as a text coming through on your phone at night. I think this house is fine unless you are a person with a chronic sleep problem, or falling back to sleep after waking up. Marcy was very helpful and I liked working with her a lot! Thank you!
