CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, CUTE AND COZY!
This DOG FRIENDLY* home is located on a quiet street with a relaxing rear deck and a FULLY FENCED rear yard for your pet. Just a few blocks from the shores of Lake Erie and only minutes to Cedar Point, stores, restaurants, the beach, the boat launch and the Huron Boat Basin. There's even a sidewalk at the Magnolia Rd entrance that will take you to downtown Huron.

Huron is a quaint and welcoming Lake front town with restaurants and pubs along the river front and entertainment at the Boat Basin throughout the summer and fall months. It's approximately 15 minutes to the famous Cedar Point Amusement Park or Kalahari. It is a 20 minute drive to the Jet Express and Goodtime One docks that will take you to the Islands...Kelley's and Put-in-Bay!

Huron has several popular spots for Lake lovers. Just 5 minutes away are Lakefront Park and Beach, the Huron Pier and Lighthouse, the Huron Boat Basin and the Main Street establishments for food and drink along the Huron River.

Nickle Plate Beach and Huron's public boat ramp to launch your boat, jet skis or kayak are just 8 minutes away.

And if you're up for a non-water experience the area has several popular wineries and there are some unique shops to explore in downtown Vermilion 20 minutes away.

Great stay. Enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, that was close to everything in Sandusky.

The home of nicely maintained and very clean. Check-in/access was very easy. The neighborhood is quiet and we felt very safe. We enjoyed the back porch.

Super clean, super convenient!

Highly recommend this property and this owner! Loves the attention to detail and the added touches. We had fresh bed linens and clean wrapped towels! Kitchen had all the needed items to cook and then some! I loved staying here and would definitely stay again!!!

Our family of 4 stayed for a long weekend. If we ever come to the area again to stay, this will be our go to booking!! Comfortable beds, nice clean linens, spotless kitchen and shower, snacks if needed, goodie bag with cleaning essentials, quiet neighborhood, and close to everything!

Pleasant Stay

We were in town for a 13U Baseball tournament. This was a perfect location - close to the fields as well as all other area points of interest. The house is well maintained inside and out in a quiet neighborhood; also very clean and comfortable. We appreciate that our booking and stay was handled so smoothly.

Great Neighborhood and Very Clean

My two teenage boys and I stayed and played some golf a short distance away, jet skiing on Lake Erie, and Cedar Point. We had our own rooms and everything in the home worked flawlessly. Perfect for us, thank you!

Nationals Trip

The house was extremely clean and was a great location. Quiet neighborhood. We were there for a national dance competition at Kalahari. It was very convenient to the event. The welcoming basket was a nice surprise. We would stay here again. Felt like a cozy home away from home.

Nice Rental Close to Lake Erie

Great rental located on a quiet street that is close to many activities in the area. The rental provided plenty of room for our family and dog. The house was nicely decorated and very clean. Kitchen had all the cooking utensils needed. The host was very helpful, was willing to provide information on local restaurants if needed. We look forward to renting again from the host in the summer to enjoy activities on Lake Erie. Many thanks to the host for a great experience.

Cozy get away

I felt safe in this cottage in a safe non tourist neighborhood I have visited the area 4 times this month. I paid the same amount as hotel in the area where I had security issues. This cottage was a welcomed relief to have security and room for my family of 3 adults I child and our dog

Nice little house

It was a nice little house only thing was not with the property or management but the fact it was a quiet zone after 9 even on the weekends. Other than that it was a great place, clean and was a nice little vacation for the family.

Great house

Stayed in Sandusky for the weekend to visit Cedar Point. The house was perfect only 15 min away. The house was clean and just as described. The kitchen had more then expcected, very stocked ( including oil & spices ). Jamie was very responsive and accommodated us for early check in! We plan to come back to stay for halloweekends!

Great stay!

We had a great experience at this property! Maybe the best Vrbo we’ve ever stayed at. My family of 5 (spouse and kids ages 9-14) and dog found the house very clean and with everything we needed for 3 days. The host welcomed us with a basket of treats, a bowl of fresh mints and treats for the dog as well. The towels were also freshly laundered and the house had nightlights, which I always forget. We would definitely come back to this house in the future if we are in the area.

Great House! Convenient location!

We booked this house last minute for a weekend volleyball tournament. We had to switch our hotel plans and needed a pet friendly rental. Jamie was very accommodating, allowing us late check out so our dog could remain there while we were at the tournament through Sunday. House is clean and had everything we needed to stay comfortably for the weekend. Very close to Sawmill Creek, which is where a lot of her team was staying and the sports complex for the tournament. Would stay again!

Total totality on Lake Erie

6 family members and our grand dog drove out for the eclipse from NJ. Just a few blocks from Lake Erie. Easy access to Cleveland and R&R Hall of Fame, restaurants. House was spotless, a bit small for six adults, but the weather was great for hanging on the back deck! Front lawn was perfect for eclipse. In all, I would say the house makes a nice home base for nearby activities and would be great in the summer. Neighborhood seems to be in transition. Houses being reno'd, but quiet and friendly!

Nice place to stay while in town for a baseball tournament

My son and husband stayed in this home over 4th of July weekend for a baseball tournament at Sports Force Park. My husband said it was the perfect stay for them to recharge after busy days away. He said it was cozy, had a nice kitchen, was convenient to the ballpark, cedar point, and local stores. The neighborhood was quiet and it had a nice backyard for them to hangout after the games. The tv was nice with updated viewing apps and very good wifi. The only downside he mentioned was that there was only 1 roll of toilet paper. (the listing does say TP is provided but we didn't think we needed to bring some extras. Usually hotels provide at least 2 rolls to cover a weekend length of stay. Other than that, it was good! Thanks for letting us rent your home!

Wonderful home, wonderful host, wonderful trip!

Jamie was an excellent host! She let us know of discount Cedar Point tickets on a coupon site before we were going to arrive and allowed us to bring our dog at the last minute (the house sitter backed out a few days before). When we arrived, the home was welcoming and there were a few snacks waiting for us. The home had plenty of room for the four of us. Everything was clean and comfortable. We loved the location to Cedar Point and found local restaurants (recommended by Jamie) for breakfast on our way there each morning. We walked the dog around the quiet neighborhood multiple times per day and felt safe (it was nice to be so close to the park that we could run back to the house to eat and relax a little mid-day, then go back to the park in the evening). If we go back to Sandusky, we'd love to stay there again. Our sincere thanks to Jamie for being so informative, accommodating, and welcoming!
