This is truly a wonderful property and gem! We cannot wait to stay again! This property has everything you are looking for. Excellent condition, super clean, amazing amenities, and prime location! The town square is awesome. Easy access to main attractions, restaurants, and public amenities. Extremely peaceful and quiet at all times of the day. The added game room is super awesome to have on site especially when traveling with kiddos and teens. Thanks again for a great stay!

I surprised my husband for his 40th with a getaway and invited his sisters, mom, and neices. We also have a 18month old who was with us. It was a great comfy house to stay in and great set up for eating and playing games together.

This property was super quaint. You can tell the house is 100 years old but in a good way. The kitchen was beautiful. I know it’s a small detail but the kitchen sink was AMAZING! One bathroom was kind of hard but I knew that coming into it. The house creaks quite a bit. It was a house of just what we needed (my husband and twin 8 year olds).

Overall the property was excellent. Well maintained and comfortable. We did not realize what a challenge it would be to have just one bathroom with 6 adults. I'd likely avoid doing that again if possible. Even taking away the situation that we were in town for a wedding so there were more opportunities for needing the bathroom at the same time, even waking up and just using the facilities made for some moments we'd rather forget. Could be our party was 1 male and 5 females, who knows. Just sharing this for others to consider as we kind of blew it off, thinking without kids it would be easy to manage for nature calls when it calls, and when your only option is to jump in the car and try to find a public restroom in a tiny town without a lot of those the stakes can get high. :)
But that is not to downplay the excellent points. The game room was second to none. We had just stayed a a much larger property (slept 20) that had game spaces in Ohio and this setup blew that out of the water. Only a few of us here had been at the other property but it was unanimous that the Main St. Game House lived up to it's name. It is a detached garage so you need to walk outside so if you have rain be aware of that, but the space is air conditioned and heated. We spent most of the time we sat in the house there as our primary sitting space it was that nice. Also since it is a century home the floors are VERY creaky and game room was my hangout till the others awoke. A great stay!

We had an amazing time during our stay! The house had a lot of character with antique details, like an old record player, tv and radio. There were many modern updates as well. The kitchen seemed pretty new and all of the appliances worked great! The house was clean and there was a lot of attention to detail. The hot and cold water are flipped in the shower, so beware! It is an older house, so be prepared for occasional creaking and settling noises. The game room is detached from the house and in a garage, so it was definitely more dusty and invited in more spiders, but we didn’t have any issues. We did find a few things in the game room that were unexpected like a dirty pair of socks, a loose razor blade, vacuum attachments and a putty knife, but for the most part it just seemed like the owners were working on constantly making the property better for their visitors. Our kids had a blast with the games, playhouse and piano. A few of the less significant games (like “hockey foosball”) didn’t work as well, and the basketball digital scoreboard seemed to be out of order, but all of the arcade games were in perfect working order. The air hockey worked great, and the ping pong table was a blast. The yard is fenced in, so that was nice for our dog. Downtown is walking distance, and there was definitely a small town feel. We recommend Sal’s Pizza, chocolates at Morke’s and lunch at Parkside Pub. Go to Brunch Cafe for breakfast! Overall, we would highly recommend this property!
