Relax and unwind, enjoying the natural surroundings inside and outside of this cabin. The cabin address is 5018 Whitehaven Lane, Huntingdon, PA 16652. We are located 7 miles south of Huntingdon. We are 5 miles from Allegrippis Trail for biking enthusiasts and Seven Points Recreation area at Raystown Lake for water sports. The distance to Juniata College is about 8 miles (15 minutes) and Penn State main campus is about 37 miles (45 minutes).
There are convenience stores nearby as well as a full-service Walmart within 10 minutes. You won’t find a lot of nationally-known restaurants other than fast-food in Huntingdon. But we have some wonderful Mom & Pop eateries with yummy food, coffee shops (some with drive-thru), beverage distributors, pubs, and quaint retail shops in our surrounding towns.
The cellular service in the area is pretty reliable with Verizon offering the best signal.
Our setting is a 6.5-acre wooded property and the cabin is semi-private with other cabins about 125 feet away. Guests are expected to stay within the open and wooded areas of their respective cabins. All guests have access to the shared driveway for walks with humans and furbabies. Multiple cabins can be reserved by groups for gatherings and all cabins are listed on this website. Our cabins are completely furnished with most of the comforts of home, much like a small house.
The living room has upholstered furniture and offers a Smart TV, internet/wifi and there is also a DVD player. The kitchen includes a full size electric range with oven, full-size refrigerator, microwave oven, coffeepot, toaster, cookware, dinnerware, and utensils. The dining area in the kitchen has a table with 6 chairs. 2 bedrooms are on the main floor, one having a king bed and the other having a queen bed. The third bedroom upstairs has 3 single beds and a double bed. The bathroom on the main floor has a shower with tub, toilet and sink. We provide pillows, blankets and bedspreads. Guests bring their own sheets and towels. We provide toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dish towels and a bath mat.
Outside the cabin you’ll find a covered front porch with a picnic table and stacking chairs. In front of the cabin there is a charcoal grill and to the side is a campfire ring.
Raystown Lake is a popular waterway in south central Pennsylvania, stretching 29 miles long. The surrounding area is owned in large part by the federal government with several state-owned parks and forests close by. It is a wonderful area to spend a family vacation with popular attractions including caverns, railroading, horse-back riding, lake cruises, boat rentals just to mention a few. For golfers, Huntingdon Country Club offers a public golf course about 4 miles north of us. Volunteers have created the Allegrippis Trail which is popular with biking enthusiasts. There are 3 different trails so that anyone from beginner to expert can enjoy the ride. There’s also a skills park across from the visitor center where you can stop for all sorts of info on the way to Seven Points Marina. Fishing tournaments are frequently held in the area. During your stay, you may be blessed to see a bear swimming across the lake or a bald eagle returning to its nest.

My friends and I were looking for a weekend get a way and Linda’s cabin was the absolute perfect fit. The hosts were absolutely incredible and made sure all our needs were met and we were very comfortable. The cabin itself was so homey, safe, and clean. We truly had the best weekend and shared so many memories together, thanks to the wonderful hospitality of this cabin. We thank you so much for having us and will be booking again in the future !!
We really enjoyed our week at this cabin. It had all the luxuries - hot water, well equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds - that we were looking for. Plus it had a beautiful, private covered porch for relaxing. And free wifi to plan our biking.
The location was fantastic, perched on a hillside in a quiet rural area. Within 10 minutes, we could drive to the Allegrippis trailheads and Raystown MTB skills park. We were able to ride the whole trail system, in a few days due to warm weather and dry conditions.
The cabin was also a good base camp for hiking the Standing Stone trail, within a half hour drive we were able to hike the 1000 steps, and within 40 minutes drive we reached the parking lot for Saussers Stone Pile. Also closeby are the Ridenour And Haun Overlooks.
Thanks for a great stay! Recommend this cabin for visitors who love the outdoors, and want an authentic, and rustic mountain experience.
We were in touch with Ms. White, in a timely manner-upon arrival. We stayed 3 nights/4 days. The space was more than adequate. "We" were 2 - could have slept about 10 comfortably. The kitchen was well equipped with about all you would need to prepare a meal. The place was clean and tidy.
One thing which was unpleasant - we found and removed - a wasp in the kitchen. This was our last night there, and I suppose it could have gotten in by way of the front door. Also, there was an odor like urine, upon entering the cabin - but once inside a room, the smell dissipated. I think the owner did all they could about it, having a dehumidifier run all the time.
The location was perfect for our comings and goings (particularly Raystown Lake).
Please provide instructions on the use of the heating system as we didn't get it figured out until the 3rd night of our stay! Not sure we would stay here again...

Great cabin, quiet and cozy. Great get away for a weekend, easy to get to and close to many things in the area.
Excellent stay. Great space for our two Labrador retrievers to have space The cabin had everything we needed. We enjoyed our time very much. Your outdoor deck/ patio is wonderful.
Always love staying at the cabins, this was the first time in the bigger cabin but it was perfect for the 3 small grandkids while on spring/Easter break from school, can't wait to come back to the smaller cabin in just under 2 weeks for my anniversary.
Whar an adorable cabin in the woods! 5 minutes from 7 points marina, but secluded enough that you felt you were in the country. Kitchen was very well stocked with utensils plates and pots and pans. We loved our time here!

Weekend Getaway
We enjoyed our time away! We booked the cabin so we could be close to the Allegrippis trails and we were only about 10 minutes away. Linda was extremely responsive and accommodating and the cabin was as-advertised. Thanks for a great stay!
Loved everything about this cabin. Was there for a week no problems. Will be back to stay here again. Great hot water. If i was closer i would come here several times a year.
Wonderful cabin in the woods. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions or requests. Everything was clean and ready for us. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need. Looking forward to staying here again!
What a great weekend! The cabin was so cute and so clean. There was a lot of room and had everything we needed to enjoy the weekend. The cabin was very close to grocery stores, gas, and only 10 minutes to the lake. Definitely will be booking again!
Myself, my husband, my sister, brother in law, niece and dogs all stayed at cabin 4. This was the perfect getaway, secluded in the woods but only a 10 minute drive to the lake. We swam, we grilled, we had fire pits and watched scary movies. If you're looking for a peaceful relaxing vacation, this is the place!
Well we got to the cabin late in the evening when we opened the front door the cabin was so welcoming it felt like someone took the idea for a cabin out of my mind it was very comfortable close to areas I wanted to go it was totally worth it and I will def book it every time I go there thanks to the owners
Everything was awesome. The cabin was perfect for our evenings off the water. The porch was large enough to have our coffee bar, eating and playing cards/games.
The cabin is only minutes from Seven Points Marina.
We would stay there again.
