"We didn’t get the door code in advance, due to booking through a third party, but they responded quickly to our call. The room was a nice side, but it was loud due to the gap under the door to the hallway. There are also 4 flights of stairs to get to the rooms and no elevators. Be mindful of this if you’re not a light packer. Cleaning staff were present, but never came to freshen our room. The kitchen is shared and well maintained. Great location, however. Walking distance to a bunch of restaurants and bars and a short ride away from even more."

"This house is adorable! Bigger on the inside than the pictures show. It was very clean and equipped with everything you could need. Jill and her husband are incredibly responsive if you have any questions or problems. There are two decks and a fenced in yard, and the master bedroom has lots of storage space for clothes (plus the bed is so comfortable). The best part about this house is the location. Bay View is so welcoming and so much fun, I went to the Italian grocery store Groppi's often. It's right across the street, they have a bar in the back and the nicest staff ever. There are many places to walk to and the lake is so close by. I loved it and can't wait to return.The only thing I would warn is that like most of the older houses in that area, it isn't easily handicapped accessible. There are steps up to the house and the bathtub/shower is very high to step into, although they do have strong grab bars. I had no problems with any of it but I think some people might. You can tell the hosts care a lot about the property. I would not hesitate to recommend it. I brought my dog and I can tell they love dogs too. I stayed for three weeks and everything was perfect!!!"
