"Clean, pet friendly , just an overall super nice place to stay "

"I have rented through VRBO 6 times but all in Europe. This is my first disaster. The house is not what is pictured. It is old,furniture is old, and the house is musty . The bathrooms are on different floors so if all bedrooms are full you have come downstairs for a shower. There is very little water pressure. It takes a half hour to wash your hair. The sink in one of the bathrooms is on the wall on a slant so you can’t even put a toothbrush on it. Shower curtain was dirty so had to buy a liner and bath mats. When we arrived there were hornets flying around the bedroom and the wires in the bedrooms were were connected to extension cords in such a way that you would trip over them if you had to get out of the bed. Also the main bedroom has very low slanted roofs so you invariably bang your head getting into bed. The only good part was that when we called about the hornets the night we arrived a lovely young man came by and put more tape on the windows and killed the bees as well as reoriented the wires in all the bedrooms. The next day we continued to see hornets and called again. Another young man came and really helped getting rid of them up on a ladder and finding the nest outside. He also called an exterminator to help. So, this is a house more for young people who like camping out . "

"The whole place was amazing. It was immaculately clean throughout. Top tier design and decor. They provided everything you could need during your stay. The hot tub was clean and amazing. "

"This was a bait and switch. The pool was the only really nice part of this house. The rest of it, inside and the whole property was really old, and a lot of it was dirty. The swing set was filthy and the tennis court which had an old garden over parts of it were both unusable. The gazebo and dock were falling apart with nails sticking up. The washer and dryer were in the basement that we weren’t supposed to go into. We did go there, and there were spiders all over the washer dryer so they were unusable too. The washer and dryer still had wet towels in them and we dried them, but they still smelled. The owner sent us new towels. The silverware was cobbled together and we didn’t even have enough forks for the eight of us, so the owner sent a pack of 6 forks.When we first walked in to the house on a Saturday, there were 2 piles of laundry left inside the front door and in the living room which didn’t get picked up till mid week. Most of the beds and pillows were old and lumpy. Only the master bedroom had a decent bed. There were 2 wasp nests which I told the owner about, one inside the outdoor table umbrella and one in the planter inside the pool area. They were never removed while we were there, so we couldn’t use the outdoor table and had to he careful with the children at the pool. The living room furniture was usable but the throw pillows were dirty and stained. Also the owner told us to install a new tennis net and rackets from the shed which we opened and it was junk. "

"The location of the house was very near for food and supplies,yet very private. The inside was very clean and well kept. We enjoyed the quietness and surrounding grounds with views of local wild life. The things that we did not like was the musty - moldy smell when we first got there. Every time you used the water it smelled. Red light on fridge for changing filter. Bought spring water to use for drinking, coffee, and cooking. All reported to host upon departure."
