The Venue Serviced Apartments
3.5 star property
7.6 out of 10, Good, (103)
"Very disappointing to arrive on site a 1845 and discover that there was no restaurant facilities and no bar available for a drink. The booking confirmation stated that both were open 11 till late, but it's actually 6pm when the restaurant closes. There is an expensive shop open to buy student type food, but we didnt fancy pot noodle when we were hoping to be dining in the restaurant. Very misleading information. "

"This is a well-placed B&B for the centre of Huddersfield. Everyone is extremely nice and the facilities are good if not bang up-to-date. the breakfast is excellent, parking very convenient and it's a nice touch to be able to bring 'takeaway' food into the hotel's conservatory to eat. We will certainly come back"

The Carriage House.
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (6)
"The Carriage House was a great choice for our belated works Christmas party for employees and their partners. The property is well laid out and very spacious, with activities available to keep everyone entertained. Prior to our arrival we saw a review from December which had mentioned a few issues they’d encountered, these had been mended or replaced. The internet modem has also been replaced and we had a decent internet connection whilst on the ground floor. The property was warm, clean and...

A Place In The Pennines
2.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (3)
"We can't fault these wonderful cabins or the hosts, the cabins are beautifully built, with great style and attention to detail and everything you need to cater for your stay. Our little staffy loved watching out of the window when we were inside, and happily snoozed in front of the wood burner in the evening. The location is fantastic, right on the canal path leading to lovely walks up and over some great hilly trails so you don't even need to drive anywhere to find good walks, although you're...

Secluded, listed stone cottage near Slaithwaite, family and pet friendly
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (17)
"Property was everything we wanted for 40th birthday celebration. John and Vicky were very keen that we had all the things we needed for our stay, and were able to tell us about the cottage and the local area. A lovely location even in winter - it must be even better in spring/summer. Sadly we had chosen the cottage because a hot tub was advertised as it would have helped with the children. This was not the case. After a long time on the telephone Vrbo did compensate in part for this...
