Expectations

Being so far from the beaten track and after a long drive one has an image of what to expect. Especially looking at the images online. Unfortunately, the age and Covid times have watched up with this resort. Overall the room and the staff been fantastic. The view of the ocean wonderful. But there is nothing to excite in the way of the environment. Relaxing moments on the beach, it is rocky and not too clean. Or the pool, it is lonely and never visited. Naturally if is very quiet and a building site due to major renovations. As said the room had everything that is needed and we had an amazing meal in the restaurant. Hats off to the kitchen staff to manage such a large menu with hardly any guests. Very fresh, and not expensive. So perfect for the one night stay but would not want to have booked for a week.

Ideal for a relaxing, get away from it all, break.

We have stayed at Bansaithong on several occasions. It is a wonderfully relaxing place to stay. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel is in a very peaceful location, the grounds are beautifully maintained and has direct access to a lovely sandy beach. It has a lovely infinity pool with far reaching sea views. The hotel is quite remote so it is probably best if you have your own car or transport, although the hotel can arrange local tours and transport. The hotel is wonderful if you are looking for a peaceful, get away from it all break. It is very quiet, and on many occasions you feel as if you are the only guests in residence. Perfect for the ultimate getaway!

Quiet and great

This was our second visit. This hotel is unlike any I have visited in Thailand. It is undeniably quiet, and even isolated. We were there in the off season and I think we were the only guests that night. It is quiet. No loud music, and very few people. There is what is essentially a private beach. We had a good meal at the restaurant.The pool is attractive and big enough for a swim. I really like this place. There is not much in the area, but for a quiet beach trip in Thailand, this place is great.

Все хорошо и красиво. Но очень много мух и комаров. Плохое море, много крупных острых камней. Остальное только плюсы. Очень приятный и предупредительный персонал.

Wonderful place away from it all. Toei, Tar and their staff are so kind and helpful. We booked 2 nights and stayed 8. Beautiful pool, empty each and good food. You do need a car though to explore the area. We will definitely be coming back.
