"We loved our stay in Apple Valley! This was our first time using VRBO. The host was very responsive and kind. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and more! The updated interior was both beautiful and comfortable. I enjoyed the local artists work displayed throughout the home-such a nice touch! Plenty of extra blankets including throw blankets in the living room. Although we only stayed a weekend I miss drinking my coffee with a view of the lake. Highly recommend!"

"We stayed here with my family and my sister’s family to watch the eclipse and had a wonderful time! The home was beautiful and the owner was kind and responsive. We all enjoyed riding in the kayaks and roasting marshmallows in the large fire pit right by the dock. We loved that this home felt like it was a rural retreat, but yet it was not too far removed from civilization. Super Walmart was only 15 minutes away and neighbors were close enough but not too close. We would definitely recommend...

This was a central location between Columbus, Cleveland and Akron where we were traveling from, and very easy to find. We comfortably slept 8 adults, had enough room in the living space/kitchen to gather and loved spending the day by the water and nights around the fire. Definitely recommend!"

"Pretty cool property . House was nice . Furniture was different in appearance but very comfortable. Hot tub was perfect . Bathrooms seem newly remodeled . Hiking trails not far by vehicle. Only downfall is the access to the water is not user friendly. It’s not stairs it’s a rope and it’s steep. But overall it was a great place to hang out and have a nice fire or sit on one of the decks and enjoy the view!"

"The hotel is by a road, so traffic can be loud sometimes. The room was very clean, but would advise the staff to clean carpets. The musty smell of the carpet was pretty strong when we entered the room. Breakfast had plenty of options. Other than one staff member, the staff were nice and receptive. Five stars because the issues we had were minimal and fixable. "
