A weekend stay for my birthday

I live in the Houston area, but more so on the south end of town. I wanted to celebrate my birthday and stay somewhere that was closer to all the places I wanted to go to. Overall, I would say I had a pretty good trip. Here are some pros and cons of my stay here. PROS: -Pretty close to all the places I went to -the property was very spacious -communication with property manager was fine -the area was very safe -checking in was quick and easy CONS: -the property could have been more clean for my liking (mostly in the bathrooms). -the ice and water systems in the fridge did not work (I had to buy ice bags and I had already brought my own water). -I had a few issues after my checkout that were not handled the way I would have liked. The property manager did somewhat help me though. -the property looked a bit outdated compared to the pictures. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay for a quick weekend getaway, this would be an ideal place!

Overall stay was good close to public transportation and activities. The only thing I didn't care for was how unsafe it was to get in and out of the shower.
