This was a great place to stay especially for our large group as this was our time to Lewis Smith Lake. We thoroughly enjoyed both the house and the lake. We brought our own boat and having access to the boat lift was an extremely nice bonus. Jason was quick to respond and answer any questions I had and was proactive in his communication.

Nice place overall. Beds were comfortable. Nice to be able to use the boat lift and park a boat under the covered dock. It was able to accommodate 3 boats. Kids loved the movie theater, pool table and bunk room in the basement. Kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils. Would stay here again.

Great house, plenty of room for all. Kids loved the downstairs area with movie room and pool table! Walkway somewhat steep and difficult for grandparents. Oven top was a little difficult to figure out and to cook several things at one. It kept turning off. But otherwise, we loved it and may be back!

2nd Lake Family Vacation

Beautiful log home and great location. Truly enjoyed our stay and the property manager was very responsive. Will definitely be back next year. Just watch out for the steep driveway.

A great gathering place

We had a wonderful stay. The log home is well -maintained, and the location is beautiful! The view from the back deck can not be beat. Loved the quiet location and not much boat traffic. We enjoyed some great meals gathered around the large dining table. Five stars for this amazing home!

Amazing Lake house!

This was the most beautiful, peaceful lakehouse we’ve ever stayed in. Absolutely can’t recommend it enough! The views are unbeatable, the neighborhood safe and peaceful, the amenities in the home over the top. Can’t wait to go back!

The house was amazing, well appointed with quality utensils and more space than you need, the back porch is great for coffee and looking at the Lake, and Jason was so easy to get ahold of and very communicative. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Log Cabin

The house was amazing. There was plenty of room for everyone, never felt crowded. The beds were very comfortable. The photo albums documenting the entire construction of the log home were very interesting. The theater was a big hit and the pool table was the site of many intense games in the evening :) We had a great time here and would definitely come back.

Location, Location, Location

Log house is amazing and location on the lake is perfect. Little ones loved the white sand beach across the lake. House was well stocked and had everything we needed. Owner was extremely responsive to all my questions and made the process effortless. Beds were very comfortable. Would like to see more outdoor seating to enjoy the amazing sunsets from the dock and the deck. This is a beautiful location on the lake.

Great place on the lake out of the main stream

We really liked the property. There wasn’t as many boats as are typically which made the water smooth for jet skis. Property is fairly close to the water. Would like to see a railing on the wall going to the lake. It is pretty steep and was difficult for my mom without something to hold on to. Great trip with extended family.

Beautiful home and lake - as described

Wonderful home to relax and enjoy quality time with family. 2 hours to Tuscaloosa for a campus visit and time with our student. Spring Break for other 2 high school sons. Kitchen was well stocked and communication with host was simple and clear. Check out procedures were some of the simplest we’ve experienced- we thought we were forgetting something. Chef Troy’s was a hit with the boys - French toast for dessert and fluffy pancakes over a waffle!
