Classy and renovated first half 20th century 2 BR apartment (2nd floor) located in Museum District (6 blocks from Asia Society Museum) and close to Texas Medical Center. Located on the second floor and with plenty of natural light. The kitchen is completely furnished. Central AC. two king beds. 2 bathrooms. Dishwasher and washer drier in the apartment. Breakfast on the run provided (coffee, tea, sugar, cereals), and no short perishable (like milk) provided. Gated parking in the back of the building (if a guest brings more than one car the host needs to be notified).

Love this neighborhood and Max's Red Door House

This is our second stay with Max. (Stayed at unit with yellow door on Chenevert for Christmas 2022). His red door property next door is just as nice! Very clean, very well appointed, nicely stocked with essentials. Super quick to respond whether you need more plates or the AC is drippinh. We would highly recommend staying with Max.

Located near Hermann Park, museums

We enjoyed our stay very much. Property was as expected. We liked the little balcony for our morning coffee. Walking distance to Hermann Park and many museums. Great restaurants. Central location for driving to other places in Houston area. One night there was some very loud talking nearby. Also the entry code didn't work right away but the manager responded quickly and had someone out the next day to fix it. Thanks.

Settle Into Clean Comfort

The building is vintage with all the modern comforts. This place was super clean. Bed & furnishings were comfortable. I noticed & appreciated that most of the furniture was slipcovered, therefore, having the ability to launder bringing cleaniness to another level. The apartment was spacious & having both a front & back entrance made coming/going easy. Communicaton with the host was fast & easy. The shower head low water pressure was not to my liking but didn't affect my overall enjoyment of my stay. I would not hestitate to book again.

A fine choice for a group needing a little more space than a studio offers. Loved the cute little mini-patio space off the kitchen.

The apartment is a regular kind of place. It reminds me of a tidy friend's rental. A very livable space but not everything is prefect. It may not be the right place for you if your standards are too high. Caution, the back stairway is a serious safety issue.

Lovely home, great for easy Downtown access

The home was perfect, clean, spacious with all the ammenities. Easy access to downtown, shopping and dining. Owner was very attentive and checked to see if we needed anything. I felt very safe and had a perfect stay. I would choose this location again.
