"Property was very clean and had everything that we needed. It did have two bedrooms which would be OK if you had two adults and two small kids. Not enough room for 4 adults, but it was perfect for my husband and myself. "Staff were friendly & helpful in all areas , parking was easy & lots of it & free ! Lots to do nearby , cafes pubs walks . Bar area plenty of space & relaxing indoor & outdoor . I had an assistance dog & staff made us welcome . Breakfast was well Laid out & on time . Will revisit soon Maybe hotel needs to upgrade some of the carpets over time but everything else well maintained"

"Clean and spacious room, equipped in fridge, coffee machine and separate lounge. Friendly 24/7 concierge, always very helpful. It took some walking around, like in a maze, to find the room. If you have mobility issues you should mention it before you book a room. Breakfast very nice , a lot of options and freshly prepared foods. Swimming pool good , sauna and steam good, jacuzzi could use a good cleaning , well equipped gym, overall leisure facilities good. We purchased a late check out but got woken up by cleaners at 10am. The check out system should be a bit more clearer and faster, to avoid queuing just to drop the key cards at the desk. You can tell it’s an older hotel and may need some upgrades but overall a good weekend away in a lovely peaceful area."

"A Lovely Stay in the Heart of Town ❤️ From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Every receptionist spoke really good English, which made everything so easy, and they always greeted us with a lovely smile. 😊 The hotel is in the heart of the town, which is very convenient for exploring and getting around. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was very comfortable, so we had a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was okay and had enough choices to start the day. Overall, we had a lovely stay and really appreciated the warm and friendly service from all the reception staff. I would happily stay here again. 😊"

"Beautiful property located in Chilwack, just outside the main Southampton area. The property is well maintained with well appointed rooms and amenities. Our rooms were spacious and bright, even with being located on the 1st floor. We had opted for the breakfast included rate, and thankful we were for the choice. Lovely tea, coffee, fruit, pastries, cereal as well as hot items. The hotel itself is a little outside the city centre, so a taxi is highly recommended for about 15 quid. We headed back into the city centre last night for a couple for a couple of drinks and food at the Scholars Arms. Again, great experience. Remember, you have to order at the bar as there is no table service. One single complaint about the hotel, if I may, our bed was not comfortable at all. It was like sleeping on the box spring only, as the mattress was either not existent or needed to be replaced. Otherwise, lovely!!"
