"You can see the beach from the window of Room 21. I am American but lived in Houlgate when I was 16. This little hotel is clean, 1 minute walk from the beach, and you are right near many restaurants and shops. I would not rent a car to come here. Just take a car service from the train station in Deauville. Nonetheless, the hotel is simple, well managed, and the host is very friendly. Excellent breakfast too. "

"We stayed as a family for 7 days. We had a refurbished apartment and we very happy, great view to the sea. Check in was simple and although it was August there was always somewhere to park and the pool was never too busy. I did think there would be more places to eat close by in the marina but was quite limited. There was more in the town 1/2 hour walk away. The reception staff were always friendly and helpful. The area was lovely and we visited many areas easily. Would definitely recommend as a basic base. "
