"The front staff was so helpful at check in. The view is beautiful. It was clean. The pool and jacuzzi were a nice addition. We also utilized the jacuzzi in the room and it was nice size. We ate at the restaurant inside and the food was so good. We will be back."

"We have been renting vacation homes for decades (literally) and this one was one of the best we have stayed in! The host is fabulous, even left a hand written note and gift certificate for a local pizza place. There is coffee, snacks and everything you need for your stay. This is the first time we didn't have to bring ANYTHING or run out to the store for something we needed that wasn't provided. The house was clean (and adorable!) and the beds were so comfortable. I planned on bringing my dog with me but ultimately didn't, but the yard is fenced and perfect for a furkid. I absolutely will be staying there again and will plan on bringing her next time. I have friends that live in the area and the location is perfect to have my own space while visiting. Thank you again for a great weekend stay!"

"Clean nice place . Thought it had more of a water access. But I now realize it has what all the other cabins throughout the area have. It’s how it works on that Lake. Couldn’t leave the boat in over night but public access was very close by so not really a problem . Beautiful area and super clean water. Would Definitely go back…"

"We enjoyed our stay. We didn’t use kayaks and paddle boat so can’t speak to their usability. Cottage is small but very cozy. Decorated nice. 2 large tvs. About an hour and half to bridge and to Traverse City. We didn’t do much in Houghton Lake except get groceries for stay and eat a breakfast. Beautiful lake."

"I booked based off the pictures and reviews. The room was clean and very nice. TV was a Roku so you weren't stuck watching local TV like normal hotels. Had nice size fridge, microwave small coffee maker. Bathroom was small,but I expected that. Larger people will struggle with the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable if you like super soft, if not take the mattress cover off. Air conditioner worked great.We had a wonderful visit, nice having a comfortable, clean,quiet space to go back to at the end of a busy day. Forget anything no problem, everything within a few minute drive.Hidden gem for sure, will be back next year for sure."
