Houailou Holidays from NZ$1,400

The room was a nice size, clean and a good base for 4 days in Noumea. The location was out of the city area in more of an industrial area so you will need a car. There was a good amount of parking on site and across the road. There a s good supermarket only a few minutes walk. The main aspect to note is that while the Hotels.com and on the hotel website seem to indicate washing facilities within in the room - these are a NOT free. The writing on both websites are misleading. The cost to use the washer and dryer located in the bathroom were at an additional cost per day. Yes there is a kitchen, but it is the bare minimum equipment in terms of being useful. There is not even a sharp knife.

Good basic room with everything you need. Clean and large TV to help get to sleep. Staff was very nice and very helpful. Very nice breakfast

good location for the ferry and a clean hotel. A nice concept with the artwork. small but comfortable room.

The room was clean, the staff friendly and helpful. Jacuzzi was a nice little treat. Easy to get to Anse Vata beach and walking to Baie de Citrons. A great spot. We were glad to have been upgraded to a suite as it was a better size for our family.

Walkable distance (10-15min) to the Natural Pool. Most of the staff were supportive but some were rude to guests who didn't speak French. Breakfast was okay, not many options. There is no restaurants, shops around the area, so make sure to bring your own meal if you don't want to dine at the same restaurant for a few days.
