Beautiful Heritage Home, Short Stroll to the town centre.

Kuranda is located three blocks from the town centre just a short stroll to restaurants, cafe's, shopping centre, fast food outlets, Horsham race track with excercise track and the beautiful Wimmera River walk with fantastic playgrounds for the kids..

Hidden behind a tall hedge is a large Heritage home with double door wide entrance hall, high ceilings, 4 bedrooms with 2 living areas with open fire places(not in use, ornamental only), dining, country kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 5th small bedroom/office(original maids room) and sleeps up to 10 people.

Former doctors residence , step back in time with generous sized rooms, leadlight windows, timber lined hallways and ornate light fittings.

Main bedroom KIng bed with bay window / reading lounge, 2nd bedroom with queen bed, 3rd bedroom with 2 single beds and trundle, 4th bedroom with two single beds plus a second TV for the kids with a Wii and with DVD player . One of the living rooms features a fold out sofa double bed and also features a large screen TV, entertainment system, pool table, games, books, dvd's and toys to entertain the kids. Large country style kitchen with oven, gas cooktop and tea /coffee supplied. Relax on the deck, pick up a book and enjoy the outlook over the garden.

The house has evaporative cooling and central heating. Outside is a decked area overlooking the garden with an outdoor setting, enjoy a BBQ and play cricket in a fully enclosed back yard with established garden. Bring your pets with you, beds and bowls provided.

Wonderful - Best of both worlds with the history/heritage of the house and modern conveniences. The nearby Wimmera wetlands worth exploring.

Halfway stop between Adelaide and Torquay

The photos do not do this property any justice! It is simply beautiful and thoughtfully decorated and more than big enough for us to go away with our daughter, son in law and grandson. We all fell in love with this property and wished we could have stayed longer. We will definitely book here again in the future!

Gorgeous house close to everything

This is a beautiful house, the pictures don’t do justice to it. We stayed at this property for two days and loved it so much we were regretting that we hadn’t booked for longer. It is very well appointed, and the host is very thoughtful and have stocked the house very generously. The decor is great, and the beds are very comfortable. Location is great too, very close to the centre of Horsham. Thank you letting us stay and enjoy this beautiful home!

We can recommend this lovely old house. It was comfortable and clean. Close to city centre, perfect accomodation.We discovered the Country Kitchen, which is a small shop on Wilson St that serves home made casseroles, pies and sweets that are like Mum's cooking.

Stopover between Adelaide and Torquay

My husband and I stayed here with our daughter, son in law and grandson. We absolutely loved this property! There's plenty of space for everyone and a very well appointed kitchen. We will definitely stay here again!

A yesteryear haven

A lovely surprise greets you as soon as you open the front door. A spacious clean and well equipped home for couples, families or group of friends. A secure fenced back yard for your doggos to enjoy is appreciated. We are sure that anyone who has the pleasure to stay will walk out with a smile on their faces.

Great property for a group

4 of my work colleagues stayed here for 3 nights during the Wimmera Field Days. They were very pleased with the size of the property, the outside area for parking, and location to town for restaurants & cafes. They would be happy to stay here again in the future.

Beautiful house

We enjoyed our stay here. Its a big house with comfortable beds and big kitchen. Our dog loved the backyard too. The art and decoration in the house is beautiful. Good collection of books and dvds.
