A peaceful retreat nestled with a stunning backdrop of our National Park in Horseshoe Bay. You will be absorbed into the landscape of granite boulders, native plants and birdlife. Enjoy the outdoor living that the expansive front deck offers, allowing the outside to form part of your living space.Enjoy the privacy of your surrounds whilst still only a pleasant 5 minute stroll to the beachfront.

The master bedroom features a queen bed and ensuite. The 2nd bedroom also a queen bed. The 3rd and 4th bedroom each have a king single bed and there is a 2nd bathroom. The open plan living, dining and front deck space offers enough room for everyone to enjoy. The front deck is furnished comfortably and includes a BBQ.



This home is fully self contained and offers the best of both worlds for a visit to Magnetic Island. You will feel like you are part of the National Park with the fringing granite boulders, native plants, wildlife and birds and yet a 5 minute stroll down the street and over a small bridge and you will be part of the Horseshoe Bay beachfront with access to local shops, eateries and amazing sunsets.

Property specific note :

Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

Schoolies or School leavers will not be accepted.

You will have access to the whole house.



The Neighborhood:

Magnetic Island is located 8km from Townsville and accessible by passenger or vehicle ferries.

67% of Magnetic Island is National Park Land, allowing for 36km of walking tracks with Australian wildlife like Koalas, Echidnas, Wallabys and many different birds. These tracks lead to magnificent views of the Island, its bays and surrounding blue Coral Sea.



Getting Around:

Magnetic Island can be easily accessed by the public bus service and taxis.

If you prefer to travel at your own pace there are hire cars available once on the Island. Parking is available.

Public Transport options are within walking distance from Sunbird Retreat



Other Things to Note:

Please be mindful of your neighbours and keep noise to a minimum.
