"The fireplace was great to keep the house warm. The water pump in the back room was a little noisy at night. The previous renters did not leave the property particularly clean but nothing that we could not clean. We will defenitely stay again next year. The kids enjoyed the outdoors even with the low temperatures over the weekend"

"We spent three nights at the Lodge. It is an excellent base for exploring Tongariro. Our room was very comfortable and the lodge had a laundry and drying room. Breakfasts were very good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Ps. make sure you meet Lucky, a very friendly feline who befriended us 😻"
