"Veldig flott hotell ikke langt fra jernbanestasjonen i Gura Humorului. Hotellet var moderne og ganske nytt. Det hadde en veldig fin liten spa avdeling, personalet var veldig hyggelig. Frokosten ver veldig god. Hotellet hadde fått full score, hvis det ikke hadde vært for at aircondition fungerte dårlig, og det var veldig varmt på natten. Kjøleskapet fungerte heller ikke. Får de ordnet opp i dette, blir det et hotell i toppklasse."

"This property is amazing! The cabins are exceptionally comfortable and well equipped for everything you need. They are well designed with a smaller footprint and are located in a bucolic setting. The main road runs close by and you can hear it during the day from the porch, but it is very peaceful at night and in the early morning. Breakfast is delivered to your room in a lovely picnic basket. It is absolutely spectacular. It was different every day and let us sample some local specialties. The...

Hotel Bucheland

Hotel Bucheland

10/10 Excellent
"Super helpful staff, spotless room. Central location within walking distance from train and long-distance bus stations, stores and local bus stops. Local farmers' market which offers locally-made bread, meats and cheeses plus a variety of fruits and veggies is just across the street Food in the restaurant is prepared fresh. I would suggest to try 'salata Buchenland', an own recipe that is both filling and refreshing. Breakfast is served daily and is sometimes buffet-style, other times a la carte. Hint: when a la carte, choose version three!"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Horodniceni?
The best area to stay in Horodniceni is the village centre, particularly near the main road, DJ209.

This central part of Horodniceni offers the most convenience, with easy access to local shops and the main road network for exploring the wider Suceava County. It's a quieter, rural setting, with properties often featuring generous gardens and a traditional village feel.

For families, staying in the village centre provides a practical base. Many accommodations here are guesthouses or larger properties that can comfortably host several people. They often have outdoor spaces for children to play, and you're close to any local amenities the village offers.

Couples looking for a peaceful retreat will also appreciate the village centre.
When is the best time to go to Horodniceni?
The best time to visit Horodniceni is during the late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October) months.

During these periods, the weather is pleasantly mild, with comfortable temperatures ideal for exploring the natural beauty and outdoor activities the region offers. You'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months, allowing for a more relaxed and authentic experience. The countryside is particularly picturesque in late spring with blooming flowers, and in early autumn with the changing colours of the foliage.

For those interested in local traditions and cultural events, late spring often coincides with various village festivals and religious celebrations, offering a glimpse into authentic Romanian rural life. This is a good time for travellers who appreciate cultural immersion without the intense heat of summer.

Early autumn is superb for couples seeking a peaceful getaway amidst stunning scenery. The crisp air and vibrant colours make it ideal for hiking or simply enjoying the tranquil surroundings.
