These shoulder seasons offer comfortable temperatures for outdoor activities like hiking and cycling through the surrounding South Bohemian countryside. You'll find the natural beauty of the region, with its rolling hills and forests, particularly appealing during these months when the foliage is either fresh green or displays autumnal colours. This makes it an excellent choice for couples or solo travellers looking for a tranquil escape and opportunities to explore nature.

Summer (July-August) is also a good time to visit, especially if you enjoy warmer weather and want to take advantage of water-based activities on nearby lakes and rivers. Families often find the summer months ideal due to school holidays, allowing for longer stays and participation in local festivals or events.
