"Overall we had a rough experience here and due to that I will no longer be using VRBO. It was hard to communicate with the host, the place wasn't as advertised (it only slept 16 when the ad said 20), and the place was dirty, we had to clean the pool, outdoor area, kitchen, and there was garbage sitting in bags in the front. We expressed our concerns about to the host and she said if we didn't like it we could cancel. Rough experience and the host dropped in unannounced our first morning. Overall...

"The apartment was great for my family of 7. The apartment is spacious, clean, and modern. Located at the heart of Alcalá de Henares, close to all Christmas festivities, and only a 15-minute walk to the train station that can be used to get to Madrid. Free Public Parking is a 3 minute walk and the apartment is in the same street as dozens of coffee shops, restaurants, and stores."

"This chalet was beautiful, and looks just like the photos. David and his wife were very attentive, welcoming and helpful, communicated with us with any questions before and after we’ve booked. The chalet is located about 5/10 minutes walk from the town where there are a lot of restaurants, cafes and shops. Also about a 20-30 min drive from Madrid City. Perfect location. My group and i thoroughly enjoyed staying at this chalet and we would recommend to anyone visiting Madrid or Alcala de Henares....

"We couldn't fault the accommodation but we assumed that the reference to parking available/on site meant that it came with parking. We tried contacting the owner but it took a day to get a response. The parking is by request and is an additional 15 euros per day. We still had a great holiday and it's a good base for site seeing."
