Not a bad place

The hotel was better than i thought given the 2 star ratong i saw. Room was pretty clean, the bed was comfortable and the location was great. I would defintely stay there again for the price.

This property has no amenities, we chose it because it was half a mile from the theater we were attending that evening! It obviously is an old roadside motel, BUT the current owners have updated the rooms! The rooms had new furniture and all were freshly painted. The hot water was instant and excellent! The beds were very comfortable and high(we laughed as we attempted to climb up on the beds LOL) Absolutely no complaints whatsoever, we had a nice warm comfortable room for the night at a great price! Exactly what we wanted 😊

It was a pretty nice place for the price…… bedding and towels were a little on the dirty side but besides that everything was nice….. a big plus for us was that they had smoking rooms!!!

These people at this hotel should not be in business running a hotel with their nasty disposition. Expedia should not be involved with a hotel that is run like the Riverside inn they won't let you bring anybody in they tell you they don't have a room and you already have a booking number nasty disposition jumped out of the bed sleeping their eyes boogers in their nose. I'm not understanding why someone has to be that nasty working with the public.

We used this property before and were pleased, but not this time! We checked in with the outside temperature at 25°f, when we got in our room the heat was off! We turned it on and although it was working, 2 hrs later we were still huddled in our winter coats! We checked out and didn’t stay the night!

I checked in late after 3 days of 16 hour shifts. The last thing I wanted to be asked by the person that checked me in was “why am I checking in so late” and when I first arrived, was told they had no more rooms.

DON'T BOOK

We checked in (slow process, aloof staff), went to our room, used the bathroom, and left. Opted not to stay. We didn't ask for a refund because there was a big sign at the desk, "NO REFUNDS," so we figured it wasn't worth the hassle. We felt unsafe. They call it an "Inn and Suites" but I went to their website and there is no "suite" option. They also claim on their Hotels.com booking page that they have 10 restaurants, and 5 bars/lounges. HA! Where? Within a 5-mile radius? What a joke.

Apparently this property changed ownership and was in process or updating. Had requested ground floor room as traveling with handicapped person but none available. No elevator. Bedsheets not very clean, slept on top of sheets. Check in person very abrupt. Contents of room just barely minimal and sort of thrown together to make sure basics were there. Very disappointed.

Very nasty establishment.

The staff was not rude nor were they polite. It took nearly 10 minutes to check in. The entire place had a bad smell, the room itself was gross. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room yet it reeked of stake cigarette smoke. There were two double beds. Both had stained blankets. The pillows were nasty ! They had dark yellow stains on them. They did have pillow cases which appeared to be clean. The floor wasn’t very clean either. I did not walk around inside the room without socks. The bathroom wasn’t horrible but the pedestal sick did not have room for you to place your personal items on it.

Nearest shop is a Subway next to the hospital. There is also a BBQ place not too far away with good food. Hotel parking is tight. Hotel is small and not luxurious, but is adequate when you need a place to sleep for the night. Staff was friendly, check-in was very easy.
