"This is the second time we’ve stayed at the animal House for an annual family trip and both times it has far exceeded expectations. "

"This was the perfect location to do nothing and hang with family. We cooked a lot (the blackstone grill was awesome!) and enjoyed the pool and sports amenities on the property. Plenty of space to run around and for the kids to enjoy the game room and outdoors ! There’s not a lot around the area but that’s exactly what we wanted. We didn’t leave the awesome home and acreage the whole time!"

"The property is a vacation in and of itself. It’s situated in the mountains with beautiful views. Spacious interior with lots of bedrooms and very large kitchen and outdoor cooking area. We enjoyed the proximity to the lake and spent a beautiful day on a pontoon boat. The host provides clear instruction on getting to the house and check out was a breeze. We highly recommend this place and made memories we will cherish. "

"House was perfect for my family. Plenty of backyard to toss a ball with beautiful view of the lake. Loved the size and seating in kitchen When going to lake, avoid traveling Snyders Run Rd. it maybe a little faster but the road down is treacherous."

"We are repeating a few reviews that were helpful to know before we left:- the steep driveway at the bottom was challenging because of loose gravel and run-off bumps, but only lasted a short distance.- we had some hot days and were very grateful for the A/C. But the upstairs bedrooms were definitely warmer than the main floor.- Our family gathering (35) spans the entire age range, so the little playground, shuffleboard, pickleball and basketball court, and picnic table area were in constant use. The hottest day we spent playing games on the spacious living room floor and doing crafts using the long kitchen table. The last very hot day we drove the 35-minute beautiful drive to Little Buffalo State Park with a large pool and lots of picnic area and it was not too crowded. There is a 6/person fee, but we found it totally worth it.- Communication was prompt and helpful."

"This was a perfect place for my husband and I to unplug and reconnect with God, each other and nature. It was so quiet on the back porch we could hear the wings of the birds fluttering as they took off. "
