Stilt home close to MacRaes, city dock, Wild Life Park.

Stilt home with dynamic views of the area. We own two homes side by side. Great for family reunions. VRBO listing # 7610181. You can rent one or both.
You enter the huge driveway with parking for several vehicles, even a RV. Under the house is totally concreted in with a large table and 6 chairs. We also have a small refrigerator down there for your drinks, and a propane Bar B Que.
Stairs leading up to Two balconies, the front one (8x26) is covered and screened in. The back balcony has a table and chairs to sit and enjoy a glass of wine or eat. Perfect place for a quiet getaway. Far enough off the main road but close enough to walk to Taverns and restaurants. Beautiful home with large rooms. Dining area will seat 8 adults. Large living room with an electric fireplace, comfy reclining couch and matching chair. Living room also has a love seat that makes out to a single bed. Great home for entertaining your friends. The 3 bedrooms are spacious with all new queen beds and bedding and pillows galore.

Great place for memorial day weekend

The place was just what we needed for a long weekend. We were met by the owner's daughter and she showed through the house. We even found fresh baked cookies that she left for us. It was a perfect location to base from as it was right in the middle of the activities we were doing.

Thanksgiving Getaway

This home was the perfect place for 3 couples to have a Thanksgiving Getaway. Very clean, well stocked with everything you could need, even to prepare a full traditional Thanksgiving meal. Hosts were excellent! Convenient to restaurants, grocery and local attractions. We definitely plan on returning.

This house was great! Very relaxing and close to a lot of things to do. Host was fantastic with all our needs and even made us brownies. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen stocked with all necessary essentials to cook meals and full laundry access. Look forward to staying here again in the future.

Super place great host

We were visiting relatives in the area for a birthday. They were such great hosts that they even dropped off some decorations for us to use. They made sure our stay was perfect. We will definitely stay here again. The place had lots of room, comfortable beds and everything you need.

Perfect house

This was a perfect house due to it being everything we needed and clean, far to many of these rentals are not clean as they should be. The ownwer and owners daughter were very nice and thorough. We will definitely stay here again for our next trip

Wonderful owners

Home away from home, super owners who couldn’t do enough for us. The house was decorated for Christmas what a wonderful touch. Everything was there for us no need to search for anything. Publix just down the road. The Coast food down the road was good being Europeans we walked there. Live entertainment at the Mill Tavern. Can’t say enough good things.

Wonderful Property and Great Host Family

This was an excellent property near where my family needed to be. The property offered more than just a place to sleep, was super clean, comfortable and offered many amenities. The Host Family was very kind, responsive and genuinely pleasant to coordinate our stay with. Communications were clear, concise and informative. While our time there was short we will certainly want to stay at this property again for a longer period of time. Definitely a "must stay" property. Thank you!

Pretty nice. Noticed refrig filter needed replacement. Things were good. Usually in Vrbo houses, owner is not seen.as much as here. Attending my sisters funeral and family from all over were able to visit together. Clean house. Nice

Joy, Koe and Mary Lynn were great hosts who went above and beyond what you woould expect from a VRBO. Family run and wowned homes were the best accomodations we have ever had away from home. Period. Sign up with these folks I promise you will not forget it!

Excellent Home for a Relaxing Vacation

This was the best stay we have ever had using VRBO. Our host, Mary Lynn, was the best and provided us a fabulous home for our vacation. Everything and more was provided for us so we would enjoy our stay. We really loved being there. The home was clean, comfortable, relaxing, and there wasn't anything else we could have needed. Above and beyond any expectations of staying at a VRBO, it was a home away from home. This was by far the best vacation we have had and staying here had a lot to do with it. Highly recommend if you can get a reservation. We definitely will plan on staying here again next time we're in that area. Thanks again to Mary Lynn and her family.

Anniversary Weekend

Had previously heard from friends about a great place to stay while in Homosassa. Booked to give husband a fishing weekend for our Anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed this property (all 6 of us), Everything was spotless, comfortable and lacked nothing. And the communication and generosity of Mary Lynn and Joy were above and beyond. They went out of their way to accommodate us and make it a memorable stay. The property is wonderfully quiet, spacious, well appointed and supplied and in a perfect location for fishing, boating and just relaxing.. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this place to everyone. And again, special thanks to Mary Lynn for all you did for us!

Home Away from Home!

There are no adjectives I can think of to describe how truly wonderful Lynn, Joe and David were. (Joy was out of town). They were extremely helpful and accommodating and it was great to meet them face to face. They enhanced the pleasure of our overall experience. The house was very comfortable and inside the house, outside noises were not heard. We fully expect to return in the future and stay here. We certainly give it our highest recommendation! This property is a gem - but owner/managers, the Byrds, are a treasure!

The house is updated, clean and well furnished. Also, it's the most well equipped home we have ever stayed in. They have thought of absolutely everything! From the comfortable beds and furniture, to small kitchen appliances, even spices and condiments! Outdoor spaces are well furnished, and the yard is well kept and beautiful - right down to the fruit trees, which we sampled. They have kayaks and paddle boards nearby at another property that is right on the water and leads to the beautiful springs. The area has a laid back, small town feel, and there are numerous activities and eateries within a mile or two. The hosts were so helpful and attentive, we felt like part of their family - their tlc was so appreciated! We will definitely keep this on our list for future vacays, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, laid back vacation, which also offers lots of fun activities to enjoy.

You won’t be disappointed

We enjoyed our stay in this very lovely home. It has everything you might need and the hosts are extremely nice. We especially liked the porch in the morning. The setting is very relaxing. We would definitely recommend.

Tree House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is on stilts so it gives the illusion of living in a treehouse. Beautiful home, yard, and close to everything! Mary Lynn, Joy, and Joe were like family due to their communication and attentive to any needs. We didn’t need anything though, because they thought of everything! If ever you plan a trip for a relaxing vacation, full of fishing, scalloping, airboat rides, boat rides for sightseeing, or just a getaway, I recommend this 100%!
