Nestled in the hills above Kachemak Bay, the Garden House cottage features stunning mountain views, and abundant wildlife. The ideal setting for a relaxing getaway, an Alaskan adventure or both. Close to nature with all the comforts of home. The Garden House was updated this spring with new furnishings, new 100% blackout blinds, and fresh new colors. This cottage is dressed up with everything you could possibly need and in pristine condition. This cottage features a kitchen, eating area, two bedrooms (each with a queen bed), one bathroom, and a comfortable living area with a brand new sofa with pull out sleeper.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Garden House in the Bear Canyon Cottages. The cottage was very clean and very well equipped. Beds are comfortable and the location is quiet and pleasant. The cottage is beautifully decorated and we really enjoyed our stay. We'd definitely stay again!

A lovely cabin with incredible views and everything you could need. Great market nearby, just 5 minutes to town. Serene spot. We saw a mamma moose and baby walking across the lawn out front. The owners were friendly and even let me pick some rhubarb to make a crisp! We'd stay here every time we visit Homer.

This was my second time renting these cabins and they are wonderful. The location and view is great. They are nicely decorated and immaculate. The property owners are also easy to communicate with and very helpful.

Cozy cottage close to town

The cottage is very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. We have family in Homer and visit regularly. We will definitely be renting this cottage again.

Homer Haven

This beautiful and clean cabin was a perfect base camp for our 3 day visit to Homer. It has huge picture windows with views of the bay and a large lawn. Was perfect for 2 couples and would be great for families too. Lots of space for kids to run around.

We have stayed in many places in Homer over the years and this tops them all! Everything was perfect! From the communication with the host/hostess to the cleanliness of the cabins to the comfort of the bed, we cannot think of one thing we would improve. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Homer! Loved it!

Pleasantly surprised on excellent condition of cabin

We found this place amazing, clean, spacious and friendly owners. For 4 adults, we had plenty of space in the rooms, kitchen and living areas. Sitting on the patio facing wide open yard was delightful. Price was much more reasonable then the local hotel rooms too. I would recommend 100%.

Perfect place to stay while in Homer

My husband, 19-year-old nephew, and I loved staying here! It's clean, comfortable, and cute. An oasis 10 minutes away from the touristy hustle of the Spit. Shortly after checking in, we were greeted by an adult moose that ran through the yard, past the picture window! The host was easily reachable and quickly responsive. She even loaned us fishing poles! We highly recommend this property.
