"From the moment we pulled up everyone had big smiles! It was a privilege to stay here and be immersed in the action taking place all around on the Homer Spit. The beds were welcoming and comfortable and the kitchenette well stocked for coffee on the deck that we will never forget while overlooking the Bay. Everyone could pick something to do that suited them most and we could all meet up to share some experiences too because the location offers a tremendous diversity of experiences. Altogether top notch! "

"Good view over of the ocean and good location to restaurants! We had a spacious suite and our communication with the management/owner was outstanding! Owner, Lila, borrowed us hiking poles, bear spray, suggested hikes, restaurants for all meals and steered us in so many fun local ways! We would stay at the Pioneer Inn again! "

"Quaint little place. Very clean. Shared bathroom but never had an issue with occupancy. Water pressure good. Always had hot water. Staff was nice. Easy parking. "

"Outside of town, nice to be away from all the hubbub but still close enough to resupply easily. Pack in and out essentially. Good kitchenette accomodations (plates, cookware, salt/pepper, coffee fixings). Great little place to get away. 2 small cons: Payment was required much sooner than check in, which I didn't expect when booking through Expedia. The propane tank we dead empty, so I had to refill in town. Even then, the grill barely warmed up to cook out shrimp."
