"WISH WE HADN’T!!! . No lights at all working on communal stairs so pitch black up to top floor apartment apartment. Stuff from other flats left on stairs so added to trip hazard. Kitchen poorly equipped , we had to go and buy something to cook in , no bread board , peeler etc. oven was disgusting, oily and old burnt food left in it . communication on location and flat number very poor so we ended up knocking on other people’s doors until we got a call from Vrbo finally . "From the moment we arrived our host “Kristie”,looked after us throughout our stay. The Stables were super clean and had lots of lovely touches that make a real difference to a short break. "There was many things that were incredibly disappointing about this property. An hour before arriving we received a message to say the main bathroom toilet was blocked and they weren’t going to fix it before our stay, meaning the only toilets available were inside the 2 en-suite bathrooms. After arriving we found the house in what seemed to be mid construction. The kitchen was still covered in protective plastic, with cupboards without handles and a complete lack of cutlery, glasses and plates....

"The property was great, very spacious with plenty of room for our extended family, 7 people total. Everything was well taken care of. The kitchen was very well stocked, and communication was great. Location was terrific, with lots of great shops and restaurants. One thing to be aware of is that there are several flights of stairs to get to the flat. That was a bit of a surprise, but we were able to manage it."
