That said, it's worth setting expectations: this is not a luxury hotel and doesn't try to be. Don't expect resort-style amenities or modern polish. The rooms and facilities reflect the age and style of the building. If you want charm, a great central location, and a comfortable base for exploring Marbella, this is a good fit. If you're looking for high-end amenities and a contemporary feel, you may want to look elsewhere. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to travelers who appreciate character over luxury."
