The Apple—A Sleeping Barrel in East Frisia

Spend unforgettable nights in a cosy wooden sleeping barrel, idyllically situated on our small farm on the East Frisian North Sea coast! Surrounded by horses, sheep, goats, chickens, and rabbits, as well as wildlife like squirrels and pheasants, you’ll experience nature at its finest. The barrel sleeps 2 adults (one child can sleep in the bed). Shower/bathroom in the farmhouse; outdoor bathroom and sink area available. Located right on the canal, it’s perfect for relaxation and animal lovers—a truly special experience!
The sleeping barrel is equipped with a comfortable king-size bed (2x2 metres) and sleeps two adults. A child can also sleep in the bed, so the whole family can enjoy a cosy adventure. A separate bathroom with a shower and toilet is located in the nearby farmhouse, while a rustic outdoor toilet and an outdoor washing and dishwashing area are available to enhance the special outdoor experience. The small farm is a paradise for animal lovers: horses, sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens, and ducks welcome you! With a little luck, you can also spot wildlife such as pheasants, squirrels, or a variety of wild birds.

Our sleeping barrels are located in a specially designated area right on our little quirky farm.

Located right next to a small canal. Water sports such as stand-up paddleboarding or canoeing/rubber dingly trips are popular activities.

The access road to the farm is just a gravel path. Please keep this in mind upon arrival and drive SLOWLY. (Animals roaming freely)
