Direct Gulf front in Holmes Beach. The large open deck faces the water — the right spot for morning coffee, afternoon sun, and evening sunsets over the Gulf. When shade is what you want, the screened lanai is steps away. The beach stretches for miles in either direction from the front of the house.

Inside, Franks Beach House has details that most Gulf-front homes don't bother with. A Bose sound system in the living room. Two large picture windows added specifically to maximize the beach view. The granite kitchen has updated cabinets and full appliances — properly equipped for a week of cooking at home. The master bathroom has a large garden bathtub for the end of a long beach day.

Three bedrooms sleep six across four proper beds. The master has a king bed. The second guest bedroom has two queen beds. The third bedroom has one queen bed. No sofa beds — everyone sleeps in a real bed. Smart TVs in all three bedrooms and the living room. High-speed WiFi throughout.

A storage room holds beach chairs and toys — grab everything on the way out and leave it when you come back. Gas grill on-site for cookouts. Full-size washer and dryer. Undercover parking for three cars. Shopping and restaurants are a five-minute walk.

Franks Beach House requires a one-week minimum stay with parking for three vehicles. Not pet-friendly.

Frank’s Beach House

Great house with beautiful beach views. Everything you might need, including beach towels, umbrellas and chairs. Great kitchen supplies and overall wonderful! Would definitely stay again!

Our second time at this property and we plan to return. It is on a quiet beach, has a very well stocked kitchen, great living space, terrific deck for morning coffee and evening beverages, walking distance to drugstore, Publix, wine/liquor store, ice cream shop, cafes, and a few shops.

Perfect beach stay

This house is clean, well-equipped, and most importantly sits on a gorgeous beachfront spot. We loved sitting out on the deck and watching the sun set and literally walking down the steps to the beach. Toddler friendly too: easy to close off the open living space and steps to a Publix. Would happily stay here again.

Best location on Anna Maria.

The location was spectacular. Right on a private beach, close to the grocery store and short golf cart ride from everything on the island. The house cleaning side did have a few issues (no trash bags, no dish soap, only one partial roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, dirty hand prints on the front door and bathroom doors), but I’m certain the management company will get those issues fixed. Overall, a very enjoyable stay. Everyone in the family had a great time.

There was a keypad on the door so we were able to go straight to the house when we got into town, making check in and check out a breeze. It is in the perfect location near grocery shopping and restaurants. Our favorite part of the house was being steps to the beautiful private oceanfront and everything we needed was provided. The house was stocked with everything we needed. We rented a golf cart for a few days and explored the island as well. We are already looking at booking our next trip to Franks Beach House, the whole family wants it to be our new yearly destination!

Great location and the beach is amazing!

This is my second trip to AMI, and this property was an amazing choice. Location: It is centrally located in Holmes Beach within walking distance to Walgreens, restaurants and strip mall shops, but yet it's tucked away on Gulf that you feel isolated. Equal jaunt to go down to Bradenton Beach or up to Anna Maria the town. Beach: I have stayed up in Anna Maria and I couldn't believe how much closer you are to the Gulf here than up north. Easy to drag everything to the beach. Views are near panoramic from inside the house the gulf is so close. And the sunsets are stunning - front row to them. Sand incredible. Lots of shells to hunt for. Outside: The big deck is so much fun. A variety of furniture in great shape. Mix of sun and shade. Porch before going into the house or cut through directly to the kitchen. I would recommend when the table needs replacing to get a pub height table/chairs to see over the railing and a better view of the dolphins. The outdoor shower area needs some maintenance, and I submitted that upon checkout. Inside: The beach and yellow decor is charming. Everything was CLEAN. The place is big enough for 6 but you don't feel overwhelmed by its size. Both bathrooms are spacious. (All showers no tubs, but we didn't care.) The three bedrooms are nice. Using the laundry in the master closet is a bit clunky with opening and closing the doors but I was grateful to have our own laundry. Also you'll probably unplug the land line phone to use the outlet near the nightstand. I would move that phone or get rid of it. Overall I was incredibly pleased with this house and would highly recommend to anyone.

Reviewer Comments: Franks beach house is awesome, we enjoyed the location, close to shops and my favorite bagel place, we go every year and by far Franks has been the best, although this year was the year of restoring the beach so right in front of us was all kinds of back holes, machines, fencing , parts were roped off so instead of walking right out to the beach we had to walk down from our location about two blocks, Island vacation properties and the owner always accommodates us if anything dissatisfying happens, highly recommend them!
