"We loved the Houseboat!! Loved that it was a central hub for friends/family to gather and enjoy when we wanted respite from the go-go-go that Hamburg is! A quick ten minute walk to the train allowed us not to have to rent a vehicle, helped get our steps in and was easy to navigate throughout the various hubs of the City! A perfect rental. We will absolutely be back!! "

Furthermore is not specified that the building has no elevator, and carrying heavy luggage to the 2nd floor was uncomfortable. The surroundings are not ofering a safe environment, as the building on the other side of the road was hosting a facility/restaurant for drug addicted persons. "

"There is simply nowhere else like this to stay! Whilst in Hamburg seeing friends, we thought why stay somewhere ordinary, when we can stay in this uniquely historic monument that has been brilliantly converted into a really cool hotel! Super comfy & well designed room (we went with a King bed suite), with a really great shower! Don't expect the Hard Rock Cafe to be here, as I did (my only disappointment). The history of the place is fascinating and the rooftop views are worth the stairs! Reception's great. Found the staff in the top restaurant to be somewhat disinterested & a bit stuffy. Definitely more friendly, fun & funky in the bar down by the reception. Great local foods market & the very lively Reeperbahn on the doorstep!"
