I arrived at 8pm; the reception was closed and further no indication. walking around I found the restaurant and they helped me further on. I would advise them to give some indications at the reception where to go..

The property is amazing and the rooms are spacious and extremely clean and comfortable. The corridors and the landings are in contrast with the rooms and seem a little outdated. The grounds are also very nice although all the focus is especially dedicated to the golf course. The spa was enjoyable with two nice indoor and outside (small) pools. However, we found that for a 4 stars « superior » hotel certain aspects could be improved, in particular in regards to service and food options. It lacked personable service and no particular interest was taken in showing us or explaining where things were in the hotel (ie. we had to explore and find all the amenities ourselves) or what was on the menu (which was written in German) or recommending good options for children (ie. We ended up with very spicy sauces on burgers for children and no one mentioned that perhaps we should choose an alternative sauce for the kids). Just little things that would actually bring this amazing hotel to its 4 stars rating as it felt the structure was worth the stars but not the service.

It is a fine decent local hotel, service and food are fine. Only thing - the reception closes at 18.00 and then you need to walk around the hotel to the side entrance (which is really hidden) to get in. That took me 15 min to find and no one to ask - the phone number is also in 'call us tomorrow' mode. Really really annoying.

Very peaceful countryside setting. Perfect for the relaxation we were seeking. Classic architecture enhanced the ambiance as did the well-maintained gardens and grounds.

Auch kulinarisch lässt das Hofgut Georgenthal keine Wünsche offen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig und bietet eine fantastische Auswahl an frischen, regionalen Produkten. Auch die Gerichte im Restaurant sind von höchster Qualität, kreativ zubereitet und ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus. Der Wellnessbereich ist eine Oase der Ruhe und Entspannung. Der Pool, die Saunen und die angebotenen Behandlungen laden zum Verweilen und Abschalten ein. Auch die Möglichkeit, Golf zu spielen oder die Natur bei Spaziergängen zu erkunden, rundet das Angebot perfekt ab. Insgesamt ist das Hofgut Georgenthal ein Ort, an dem man wunderbar entspannen, genießen und neue Energie tanken kann. Es ist ideal für einen romantischen Kurztrip, einen Familienurlaub oder einfach eine Auszeit vom Alltag. Ich kann es uneingeschränkt empfehlen und freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch!

Lage und Umgebung wunderschön ...Hotel könnte mehr

Der Empfang war freundlich. Die Zimmer waren absolut sauber. Design und bequemlichkeit der Betten war nicht ganz so meins. Sauna und Schwimmbad. Der Bereich ist in die Jahre gekommen und die Öffnungszeiten sind nicht so passend. Positiv: es öffnet um 7 Uhr Negativ : es schließt um 19 Uhr. Das Hotel sollte Abends verlängern und dafür in der Mittagszeit eine Pause einführen (nur an Werktagen) dann hat man den gleichen Stromverbrauch mit mehr Kundenorientierung. Das Restaurant: Der Kellner war sehr freundlich. Das Essen war ok . Soll aber mehr darstellen als es wirklich ist. Die Möhren waren nicht nur bissfest sondern roh. Die Portionen unangemessen klein. An der Entenbrust wurde wohl aus Optik gründen rechts und links die ungeraden Seiten abgeschnitten... dies führte nicht nur zur verkleinerung der Portion sondern auch zum austrocknen.... wenn danach das Gericht noch unter der Wärmelampe steht. Als Kartoffelgratin gab es eine geschichtete Kartoffel. Lecker aber zu wenig. Bar: Getränke gut aber vieles nicht Vorrätig trotz erwähnung in der Karte ( Es werden explizit 3 Verschiedene regionale Gins beworben) laut Barkeeper keiner Vorrätig. Der Kellner aus dem Restaurant organisierte dann netterweise noch einen .

Lækkert - klart anbefales til golfgæster

Luksuriøst og lækkert - super dejligt sted med gode parkeringsmuligheder, dejlige lyse værelser, høfligt personale og dejlige faciliteter. Eneste minus er at personalet lod til at prioriterer deres golf-gæster over resten - især i restauranten fik de særbehandling, og os andre blev nedprioriteret - de søde unge tjenere blev hundset rundt for at betjene golfgæsterne som også sad udenfor på terrassen i det dejlige vejr - men andre skulle sidde inde - og hvis de betjente os a mere så blev de straks omdirigeret - vi måtte bede om regningen 4 gange og rejste os til sidst og ville gå før en overtjener så lidt muggent fik en af de unge til at klare vores regning. Så plus til hotellet - men minus til overtjener og chef i restauranten.

Ein Ort wo sich Fuchs und Hase gute Nacht sagen. Schöne Gegend für Golfer. Als Wanderer könnte es noch etwas besser ausgebaut sein. Leider wurden die Zimmer in diesen drei Nächten, als wir dort waren nicht gereinigt. Das Frühstück ist gut, jedoch gibt es zu wenig Tische, wenn alle Gäste auf einmal kommen. Das Ambiente hat mir sehr gefallen und der Wellnessbereich ist in Ordnung. Ich bezweifle jedoch, dass diese grüne Ideologie zu einem exklusiven Hotel passt.
