Nice Room in a cottage building in a rural area just outside of town. Room was nice and there is a shared kitchen if you choose. Super friendly host lives in house on grounds.

Great place near Hofn!
We loved that there was a full kitchen so we were able to cook pasta for dinner; it saved quite a bit of money instead of eating in restaurants. The whole place was impeccable!

Nice, big room with lots of place to hang coats, place luggage, plug your chargers. Has a shared kitchen, when we were there we were the only ones. The GPS brought us to the right place, but there were no signs. You are asked to leave your shows at the entryway.

Bad value for money
This place was by far the worst value for money of our Ring Road trip. The room was incredibly simple and the shared bathroom and kitchen are right outside the bedroom doors that we could hear everything of the other group staying in the same location if they were in the common space. Everything was clean and it's pleasant enough, but you could get much better for what this place cost us.

This was easily the nicest place we stayed in Iceland. We had a private room and bathroom beside the main building. We shared the house with two other couples with their own rooms. Kitchen space was big enough for all of us to share. Our room was very big and comfortable! The bathroom was very clean and spacious. The view from our room and bathroom was incredible. Would definitely stay here again

Nice location away from everything. I took a nice walk in the morning to take in the surrounding beauty. I was neither wowed nor disappointed by the hotel. I opted for a breakfast in the town so I cannot comment on the food the place offered.

Good if you hire as a group
We had the guesthouse to ourselves so we were very lucky. If the two other ensuite bedrooms had been occupied it would have been very uncomfortable as there were only 4 chairs in the kitchen. There is no living room or dining room so to hire it out to 6-7 people seems a bad idea. The bedrooms and bathrooms are well decorated, new, clean and comfortable. But they also don’t afford seating areas so I would suggest only renting this if you’re in a small group who know each other well. If you turned up to find 2 other couples booked in you would be in for an awkward time.

very poor price/quality ratio
I can't understand the hype about this place in the other reviews. The house is nice but the bedroom is shabby and without any comforts (no ensuite sink, main light not working). I think it is extremely overpriced even by Icelandic standards: €160 for a run-down double room with shared bathroom is a rip-off.

Sehr sauberes Zimmer, Küche vorhanden, die aber geteilt werden musste. Preis ev. etwas hoch. Unterkunft liegt ca. 4 km von Höfn entfernt. Netter Ort mit Supermärkten, guten Restaurants und Schwimmbad.

Casa de tres o cuatro habitaciones con baño privado y cocina comunitaria. La habitación daba a un porche trasero, con cama muy cómoda. Caro para ser solo alojamiento, pero parece que la zona es cara en comparación a otras partes del país.

Nytt, komfortabelt gjestehus nær Høfn
Dilksnes Guesthouse ligger rett utenfor Höfn og er et godt alternativ for overnatting. Hyggelig vert og helt nytt sted. Huset vi bodde i hadde tre rom med private bad, og felles godt utstyrt kjøkken. Rent og delikat. Mulig å kjøpe mat på Netto i Høfn sentrum. Der finnes også gode spisesteder. Gjestehuset ligger landlig til med vakker utsikt til Vatnajökull.

날씨도 좋고 주변이 조용하여 오로라를 볼수있을줄알았는데 못봄 ㅠ 게스트하우스는 깨끗하고 무난하다 공용주방도 있어 저녁에 우동끓여먹었음
