"The views from our apartment were absolutely wonderful - much better than the blurb on the internet suggested. Absolutely beautiful views of the lake vista with huge windows across the entire view. Amazing. Loved sitting on the large balcony at night, watching the day turn to dusk and then night time. Perfect and luxurious. Although the location is up the hill (hence the brilliant views), there is a handy shortcut using the number 71 bus which saved the legs on more than one occasion. The apartment was super-spacious, with loads of storage and hanging for clothes and places to store bags. The beds were large and comfortable. Showers fantastic - much needed after a hot day in the summer. Downsides for us: 1) no instructions for using the hob or cooker. We could not get the hob to work - in the end someone came up to show us and the issue was the wrong pan. Easily remedied, but frustrating after a long day of travelling. We also spent about an hour trying to change the instructions on the cooker from Arabic to English after someone said they would come up but didn't show. Simply changing this or leaving instructions would have been really helpful as even with Google translate it was tough. 2) No air con - mostly this wouldn't be an issue but in the height of summer it was hot given so many windows. We made it work by closing the curtains during the day. 3) Wasps. An issue across Zell but some wasp traps would have possibly helped minimize this further."

"Great stay in this beautiful area of Austria. First the positives( there were many).. The welcome from reception staff at the hotel was perfect. Hotel is in a fantastic location and is visually very attractive and well maintained. Hotel is very Austrian , charming with lots of character. Hotel offers lots of activities, swimming pool, fitness, health spa etc etc. We hired e bikes directly from the hotel for a very reasonable rate of 35 euro. We made the 9okm round trip to the beautiful Lofa without any issues. Staff were extremely attentive. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Our room was of a good size,complete with sofa and small balcony. Room was cleaned to a high standard every day. Negatives. No air conditioning in the room(it was in the middle 30s during the entirety of our 4 day visit). I was really surprised to find a hotel of this quality didn't have air conditioning. Fan was provided which didn't really assist in managing the temperature. No shower screen or curtain when showering in the bath. The floor was constantly wet unless you sat in the bath to shower(rather defeats the point of a shower). No tea and coffeee in the room. The fridge in the room was very poor and hardly cooled anything. I would have loved to give the hotel 5 stars has we had an amazing stay in the stunning Zell Am See region. Hotel is fantastic but missing out on a few "room basics' at this price point. Great stay as part of a 14 day trip around Austria."

"Rooms were spacious. Breakfast was great, lots of variety. Plenty of fresh fruit and veg. You can sit on the terrace. Staff were very friendly dot and helpful. We had the sea view which was nice but noisy due to trains running through the night. Maybe best to book Mountain View. Hotel is close to the spa and town centre. Great location."

"Hotel was a lovely family run hotel. We had a family room which consisted of two adjoining bedrooms with one bathroom of the main bedroom. There was a balcony that looked towards the mountains that we enjoyed sitting on in the evening to watch the sun set. Room was comfortable and clean. I hadn’t realised when booking that in the summer months the restaurant isn’t open in the evenings. Whilst there are lots of lovely eateries in Zell Am See for us this was an inconvenience simply that we were tired after being very active all day and would have preferred not to have to walk back into town and then back up the hill to the hotel. However breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Everyone was very helpful and gave us great service. We have had a very enjoyable stay."

"Amazing experience. We were lucky to have joint rooms with kids and adults having their separate rooms which made aour stay super comfortable. Fantastic view on the room balcony and at the restaurant (inside and outside). Nice quiet private beach with very short walk to the beach club for lots of fun with kids. We recommend 100%."

"Leuk appartement op een top locatie. De inrichting en stijl zijn uitgesproken, maar dat doet niet af aan een goed verblijf. De wat uit het zicht plekken hadden iets beter schoon gemaakt kunnen worden. De ligging dicht bij de liften is ideaal, dorp is wel wat verder lopen, maar er gaat ook een bus. Perfecte uitval basis van waaraf de omgeving te gaan ontdekken."
