Enjoy panoramic views of the River Derwent, Mount Wellington, MONA Museum, and the Tasman Bridge, all from the comfort of a beautifully appointed home. This spacious and bright house is perched high amongst the Tasmanian blue gums – it feels peacefully remote, but is just a 20 minute drive from the vibrant Hobart city centre and less than 5 minutes from MONA museum.

This stunning, private home boasts 4 spacious double bedrooms with built in wardrobes, 2 bathrooms, an open plan living and dining room, and an expansive, well equipped kitchen. The large and private garden has views of the surrounding bush, as well as a wraparound deck with several seating areas, a BBQ, a sunshade, and a gas heater, with Mount Wellington and River Derwent serving as the backdrop.

There are 2 floors; you will find the king bedroom and a bathroom on the bottom floor, and the rest of the house is on the top floor, which is where the front door opens out onto. There is also an external door to access the bottom floor. Please note, the garage on the bottom floor is locked off and not for guest use.

This home is designed with convenience and comfort in mind, including remote controls for the bedrooms lights and a central vacuuming system. More creature comforts in this tastefully furnished home include free Wi-Fi, a smart TV, free on-site parking, a well-equipped kitchen, designated office space, and laundry facilities.

The home is located in a tranquil area of the suburb Rosetta, surrounded by plenty of bush atop a hill. In contrast, the vibrant MONA museum is just a 5-minute drive away. Also nearby is Glenorchy, where you can find Northgate shopping centre which has all the essential services and clothes shopping, as well as a cinema, museums, and other attractions.

Please note there are CCTV cameras outside the property, near the front door and on the balcony facing the driveway. These cameras have microphones. They are external devices used for security purposes by the owner and are not located inside the house.

Due to the property being contactless self check-in, booking guest is required to complete an online registration prior to check-in, which will include uploading a copy of their government issued ID (e.g. driver's license or passport). Location and property were beautiful. It was super easy to access and enter. The wildlife was fantastic. Literally on Mona’s doorstep. 2 suggestions that would’ve made the stay so much better 1. Fans in the room as it got quite hot and stuffy 2. Coffee machine would have been great for morning coffee on balcony .
