Stayed for two nights rest excellent location very comfortable bed perfect to rest and recover, stayed with my small dog and outdoor courtyard was fully fenced and beautiful little garden
Gorgeous cottage, everything you needed, best comfy bed, peaceful and private. North Hobart a great area with heaps of food choices, cafes, easy walk to places. Highly recommend.
The cottage was just perfect for my partner and newborn baby. The host went above and beyond to make everything comfortable on our first trip with our baby. Could not recommend highly enough!!
Cozy Historic cottage, 100mtrs from main trendy shopping street of Nth Hobart with 12min walk to Hobart State Cinema complex, with cafe, bar and very inspiring bookshop.
Incredible cottage. 170 years old and so lovely. The stone work of the cottage is amazing, as it was all chipped and placed by hand. Everything we needed was available at the cottage or very close by. Elizabeth street offers so much for food variety and the city center is an easy walk away. The architecture all around is incredible. We are from Brisbane and don’t have this old school architecture any more. We loved our stay and highly recommend anyone to stay at Jane Cottage.
Kayes place is in the best spot, located a short stroll to everything, pubs, cafes, attractions, shops. The cottage is lovely, clean and comfortable, thank you Kaye.

Loved the peace. Safe and friendly neighbourhood, great dinner options with extremely friendly and generous staff. Everything we needed to round out a great holiday around Tassie.
My husband and I and our Frenchie Cruz, enjoyed our stay. The cottage was comfortable and welcoming and had what need to feel at home. The enclosed garden is lovely and offers a pleasant spot to eny a cup of tea or cold drink. Finding a pet friendly place to stay near Hobart is an absolute bonus!
Once again we had a brilliant stay at Jane Cottage. North Hobart has it all - State Theatre, Kebab Rehab, close to Hill Street Grocers. Perfect location for a great break.
Thanks
Jane Cottage was a perfect base for our day trips. We could just stroll up the street to a vast array of restaurants & cafes.
*Only issue was parking times however, we soon worked that out.
Fantastic house character abounding. Very close to eateries, shops and tours. A WONDERFUL PLACE TO SIT, RELAX, ENJOY. Parking for vehicle thanks to an unforgiving council, abhorent.
A cute cottage with loads of history and a little bit of cute quirk!100 metres from the foodie strip where we found the world’s best almond croissant at Zam and Sushi coffee at Midori.A huge plus was the easy walk into the CBD and dock. We walked everywhere. Thanks Kaye!!
We enjoyed our stay. Very handy location with easy walk to restaurants and cafes. Cottage is cozy and well equipped with everything we needed. Washing machine / dryer would be a bonus but not an essential for just a few days. Parking is managed ok if you get a good spot (like we did). Issue is with Hobart City Council and host does her best to advise. Overall a great place to stay in North Hobart. Recommend.
Jane Cottage is perfect home stay accommodation . A very cute 1855 stone cottage with a very adequate extension for 2 people. But it has some lovely personalised and quirky little additions that make it unique .
It was a just around the corner to a classy bottle shop and heaps of all types of eating and drinking places .
It only took us around 25 minutes to walk down to the waterfront straight down Elizabeth St.
Bed was extremely comfortable and had a beautiful little courtyard to look out too . Amenities aren't modern but they all work and represent a great value for the price . We would stay again for sure .
Thanks

Wonderful stay at Jane Cottage, Kaye was very accomodating allowing us and our medium sized dog at her location. The house was very well equipped for our week long stay. Thanks Kaye!
