The cottage was dusty. The bath dirty. The smoke alarms were empty and hanging open from ceiling. Crawling silverfish in bed and bed bugs in mattress that left us covered in bites. We left at dinner time and stayed somewhere else. Owner would not refund and was rude and angry. Accused us of carrying bed bugs in on our clothes. Exhaust fan in bathroom was also hanging ftom ceiling. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

This cottage was charming with period furniture and decoration. The furniture was so comfortable that I did not want to leave. The host was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I wish we could have stayed longer.
