Everyone in this hotel where very nice and good people, only one person in front desk need to reminded that this is 5 star hotel and people staying their they are not worry for few dollars at the checkout. His name was Harry and look like he was working for big accounting firm like Kpmg. I told hem 5 times just charme for the little bottle of we took the more expensive one instead of waiting for some one going to the room to check out. Also you need to hire a good cook, food was not 5 star hotel. Thanks

The manager at breakfast on 29 and 30 Jan was rude, He stopped me from taking my juice to finish in my room and made me leave it on the table on the way out. He was shaking and pointing his finger and both myself and other guests got the impression I was a criminal stealing juice--how embarrassing and unprofessional..I was never informed of any rule like this.He needs behavioural elocution on how to treat guests.As a lawyer I am accustomed to better respect

We really liked this hotel, even more than 5 star hotels nearby where we also stayed. The staff are very friendly and the rooms were spacious. The pool is small but worked well for us.

Safe place to stay in city center. Mostly places are walkable distance, for the rest we have grab, friendly and helpful staffs, room are of the old style wooden flooring we’re quite old, felt a bit unsafe. Room slippers help it. Comfortable stay overall

I’ve stayed at the Grand Hotel numerous times over the past 15 years. My only recommendation would be to have the outside walkway along the side of the hotel swept up. There was a lot of trash and dirty window seals that need cleaning badly.

While the property has a bit of an old-world charm to it in terms of architecture and decor one is also quickly reminded about the age considering a musty and mildew smell in my suite during a 5 day stay. The windows are single glass and all sounds from cars, etc. throughout the night are easily transmitted for a disruptive sleep. Further more, the plumbing from the neighboring suites are noisy and conversation is well transmitted through the set of connecting doors with considerable gap at the bottom. Both of the toilets in my suite were dripping throughout the entire stay. The shower/bathtub are a combo with curtain, not quite 5-star quality. However, the location is convenient and the staff friendly. Just be aware of no sound insulation and a very disruptive night.
