"Overall experience was very good. The suite was unusually decorated, large and clean. It was at the front of the hotel and there was some residual noise from the street. AC was good and housekeeping was efficient. It’s in a good location for Via Etna, Piazza Duomo and other spots and very close to a host of bars and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful when I needed to interact with them. The breakfast buffet was adequate but not in keeping with the style or ‘sense’ of the hotel. The restaurant struggled to keep with the demand of a lot of guests having breakfast at the same time. There was very little information about the services in the hotel. Nothing in the room or advertised around the hotel. The gym was very small."

"This hotel was a delightful surprise. All the luxuries of a fancy big name hotel but with the charm of a small European downtown hotel. We were not looking forward to driving our rental SUV in Catania's narrow streets, so we took our rental back to the airport right away, and used the hotel's service of reserving a ride back to the airport in the morning. $30 euros for a very nice and clean vehicle and great driver who even helped us with carrying luggage from our second floor room (strangely, the elevator does not stop at the second floor). The staff was absolutely charming, very helpful in every way, spoke fluent French which is our native language. And the breakfast was wonderful. The location is convenient to go eat out, lots of options a few minutes walk from the hotel. Wish our stay there had been longer than one night!"

"Great location, secure. Friendly professional staff allowed us to check in early thank you. Comfortable clean room and bed. Crisp sheets/linens. Was expecting more Sicilian fare for breakfast, catered too much to North American diet. Not a deal breaker as delicious pasticceria on the street corner. Has so much potential as the courtyard is charming. Overall would recommend. Felt welcome and well looked after. Thank you!"

"The room was excellent. The location is perfect and all staff were very helpful with a particular shout out to Flavia who helped us on checkout. The rooftop restaurant is exceptional and worth going up for a drink at sunset if nothing else."
