Our room was not ready until 3:15pm, 15 minutes past the contractual check-in time. We had arrived at 9am and requested for to check in early if possible because of evening commitments. I understand it's a busy hotel, but to not be allowed to check in until 15 minutes after the guaranteed time is pathetic. I called at 12pm and they said the room would be ready soon. It was not. No apologies were given. Our AC vent was also clicking on/off all night making it difficult to sleep. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything right outside your room. This hotel markets itself up to appear luxurious in the lobby and outside, but once you're in your room it is miserable. $6 for a drip coffee in the morning. Avoid at all costs. You are better off anywhere else.

An odd musky smell in the hotel, like a mold. Room don't feel clean. Blood stains on the sheets (more than once!). Mirror light in the bathroom not functional so you're shaving without light. Toilet paper holder broken. Shower wand broken. Everything old and used, dilapidated. Not to be repeated ever again.

Great location. Big rooms for NYC. Staff was very friendly.
