Independent in Hispaniola

"The rooms, facilities and staff are great. The bars, and unlimited tropical drinks were a lot of fun. The food was a big disappointment. Other than the fast food court by the pool, at multiple meals the food at the property restaurants was sub par. It seemed as if the entrees were previously cooked or frozen and heated up at the time of serving. If I was still traveling with little kids (pizza, fries, chicken fingers, etc), it wouldn’t be a big deal, but part of the appeal was that they had multiple restaurants for grown up food and at each sitting it was lacking. I would come back to Punta Cana, but likely stay somewhere else. "

"We had a great time, will come back. It was a little fa any from anything and I personally didn’t have an hot water in my room the whole time but it was ok! The water for the hot tub didn’t work either. But the resort was clean and the food and drinks were good. I will come back. "

"The service starting from the front desk to the cleaning staff is the worst. Food is okey, the beach is beautiful but you feel like your sitting in a shopping center they have all the vendors standing literally in front of you. "
