Welcome to 117 South Forest Beach! New to the rental market, this beautiful home has fresh paint, new appliances, and new furniture to enjoy. This home is the perfect getaway for the family with lots of privacy and space for everyone! With one of the best locations on the Island in South Forest Beach, you will enjoy the private pool area with outdoor eating and plenty of seating to enjoy the weather on the Island and a good size yard for recreation. Come home from a gorgeous day at the beach and drop all the beach gear and chairs on a large concrete area where there is also an outdoor shower for your convenience. As you enter the home, you are met with a large foyer that leads you into a spacious, fully- equipped kitchen for preparing large meals and the living room directly off the kitchen with plenty of seating for everyone and a large TV to enjoy. There’s also a dining room off the living room with seating for six, and a counter height table off the kitchen with additional seating for meals. The first floor has two bedrooms that share a bathroom (wheelchair accessible). The private, very large master suite is upstairs. For the ultimate privacy, there is a detached pool house with a queen bed and full bathroom. Don’t hesitate to book this gem of a beach house! It’s filling up quickly!

This property was in a great location. Such a quick little walk to the beach and surrounded by beautiful scenery. So close to everything we rode our bikes most of the time. The house was very clean and the pool was great. Really have no complaints except the grill was a little dirty But nothing a little elbow grease didn’t fix. Hilton head is beautiful and for a family vacation. this is a great property.

Family Get Away

Location, location, location!!! Just a quick walk on a path to get to the beautiful beach. And just a quick bike ride to restaurants and shopping. The house was perfect, had everything we needed and wanted too. I highly recommendthis house and would definitely love to stay here again.

We had a fabulous week here! Quick walk to the beach and a short drive or bike ride to Sea Pines. Found everything we needed in the house for nights in as well as beach and pool accessories. Already planning our next visit!

Long Weekend

House was as pictures show. Short walk to the beach. The beach is wide and beautiful. Had a problem with the heating system when we first arrived, but owner was very responsive and it was fixed in a timely manner.

Family Vacation

We loved our stay. The house is just as pictured. Plenty of room for the 6 of us and our dog. Very close to the beach and a short bike ride to Coligny. We will be back next year.

Fall Break Fun!

We had a great stay! There was plenty of room for our family of 5 and our dog. We loved the private backyard and the pool. We didn’t utilize the separate pool house area, but it looked nice. We had everything we needed during our stay. The best part was the short walk on a private path to the beach!! We would definitely book again!!

Handicap accessible 100%

My nana is in a wheelchair and there was 8 of us so it was hard trying to find a handicap house where she could get around in her wheelchair and stay with us but this place was amazing & went beyond our expectations we had the best time & it was amazing the pool is awesome the house is awesome & the walk to the beach is so easy took us about 5 mins if that. Would 100% stay here again!

Wonderful stay

We spent a week here and had a wonderful time. The house is big, but was welcoming and cozy at the same time. Comfortable couches and bed. Kitchen was well-stocked and we loved the counter seating. The outside/pool area was fabulous- I could stay on the lounge float for the rest of my days. Very easy access to the beach and to the bike trail. Great house for dogs too. Nice yard with plenty of room for zoomies. Owners were so kind and helpful. Will definitely stay here again!!!

Location is great with easy beach access. chairs, wagon, beach coolers were great to have. If the goal is to maintain your property with renters then some dishsoap with a scrubber, more garbage bags, paper towels would have been helpful. Pool appears larger and deeper in photos but was cleaned during our stay

Owner attentive/ clean/ relaxing

This is the perfect home to enjoy time with your family. The separate room, off the pool, provided a private space for the 20 somethings. The owner was available immediately when I needed to ask him a question. This house was absolutely perfect for our group. We had a wonderful time. Oh yea, they had chairs, wagons, umbrellas, etc... They made enjoying the beach easy.

Memorial Day week 2024

Great stay with 3 couples plus grandson & granddog. Easy shaded walk to beach, plenty of beach chairs and beach wagon (although we ended up renting chair/umbrella sets from Beach Patrol). Pool was great as well, grill was great for a couple of nights at home. Second fridge in the garage was a nice bonus. This house is far enough away from Coligny public beach that crowding was never an issue. Overall 5/5

Absolutely the best!!

One slight problem because trash was not picked up and overflowed. But Jon and Katie were very responsive—they did their absolute best and eventually situation was corrected. We loved their house. It was perfect for our extended family of 10. The one minute walk to beach was the best because that is wherever spent the majority of our time. We highly recommend this house and Jon/Katie as hosts. Thank you!!

Overall the home and location were perfect! Suggestions would be there are too many bunk beds when more adults were staying there. Would suggest either a full or queen replace one of the bunks in the room with four bunk beds. Also a full length mirror somewhere within the house i.e. hanging from a bathroom or bedroom door.

The home couldn’t be in a better location. The house is kept very clean and the owner communicates very well. The only issue we had was with the pool heat and cleanliness. There was so many leaves and a ripped skimmer. We ordered a new one on Amazon because everyday you needed to clean it. The heated pool to us is not worth the cost as it didn’t keep the pool as warm as we had wished. All in all that is our only complaint with the property!
